You mean to watch a T.V. while you are in a Lucid Dream? Or to have the T.V. on while you are Lucid Dreaming? I think it is the first of the two that you meant. Yes I noticed that the T.V. is quite odd.

1) The T.V. doesn't work.
2) The T.V. doesn't show a show but a plethera of odd shapes colors.
3) The shows on the T.V. are absolutely bazaar.
4) The shows are normal if you focus on them.

The LD T.V. is quite an odd thing.

I've seen dream TV before. I think I even saw a new episode of a canceled TV program, or bits and pieces of it while knowing what it was about...Pretty interesting.

I thought i would bring up this topic again because i didn't get much replies last time. I would really like to hear people's experiences on watching tv in lucid dreams. In non-lucid dreams i have watched football matches, films, programmes etc and i have found it amazing what your sub-conscious is capable of creating. But so far in my lucid dreams when i try to watch tv it's completely disorientated, i wonder if this is because you are lucid your sub-conscious hasn't got as much control.

For me, whenever I watch tv in a dream or a lucid dream, I quickly find myself inside the scene of whatever I'm watching, as a third party disembodied observer. So suppose I sit down in a dream, turn on the tv and watch a football match, i'll very quickly find myself standing on the field, watching everything around me, hearing and smelling the grass, so to speak.

Then when the 'tv show' ends I'll find myself back in the original dream. But I can't seem to ever just 'watch the tv', it always encompasses all my senses until there is nothing but the thing I'm watching.

Lol I dream of watching TV all the time in my dream and everytime I end up becomeing part of the show. Or I start off inside the TV and become Lucid. (Example) You see a favorite charater in a dream. He dose something fun. I record everything I watch on TV so. I go to rewind it. Differant everytime. But the bad thing is you end up losing Lucidity and your character swaps into the TV set and is no longer real. Gee I hate that. Any ways the Show are clear on the TV and can reconize some of them. Some times I see Jason and he becomes real and starts chasing me with a bloody axe. While other times I see voltron and I end up in the middle of a fight. lol. Bazzar. It's ither I get sucked into the TV or They become real. Unless I lose Lucidity or is non lucid to began with and think I'm in the waking world and nothing happens. Witch can be bad.

This is definitely something to add to my "To Do" list of things to accomplish while lucid. I would really be interested to watch a few different channels while completely lucid with a stable dream environment, then report back on the details.

I rarely if ever see a television already in the dream environments I find myself in though.

Funny you should post this, last night the damn thing wouldnt turn down! Fortunately there were no adult channels on!!!

Ah was a normal dream - Will try this tonight in my next LD

I was watching a football match (soccer) last night in a normal dream and it was so realistic, i remember this awesome goal. I would like to watch a bit of a match in a lucid dream and see what it is like. I would like to put an awesome programme on and then go into the tv. Though i have heard it is difficult to do this.

This is a great idea, yeah things can be quite strange in an LD, remember, the scene is always changing so it would follow that T.v would be incredibly strange... I'm interested in trying this...

I am yet to watch tv in my dreams. *says to himself over and over again "Must become lucid tonight, Must become lucid tonight"*

Yeh it would be really cool to do this, another thing i have heard people say they do is to make a person inside the tv walk through the tv (the ring)

I've tried that in my dreams, and it worked, but the problem for me was that this person ended up being really small, since the tv wasn't all that big. They didn't enlarge as they stepped through.

Hmm, maybe I need a full cinema view. Though then they might end up giants

My favourite move is Shaun Of The Dead. I've seen it over 50 times and I can lip sync some scenes. I'm gonna try WATCHING it sometime.

So the channels were in the same places and the programs were not strange at all. Because when i have watched tv the channels are never where they are meant to be and some of the channels don't work.

I dident try to change the channels i just went through my living room and watched what was on , it was a cartoon
