Dinky Dream toy#1: the WUBBIN

Introducing the WUBBIN! Brought to you by Dinky Dream Toys What's a Wubbin? A Wubbin is the first in a line of virtual dream toys manufactured in the dream world by Dinky Dream. You can use it whenever you lucid dream. It is made of sturdy super-stretchy rubber, and has some amazing bouncing properties. Why would I want a Wubbin? Heavens! Why wouldn't you want a Wubbin!? Trust me, the next time you find yourself in the middle of a nice lucid dream, and you say to yourself "well... what should I do now?" you'll be wanting a Wubbin! What does it do? A Wubbin can be thrown in any direction as hard as you like, and it generally finds its way back to your hand, usually after bouncing off of several objects. A strong arm can easily launch a Wubbin 200-250 feet! A bounce might slow a Wubbin down a bit, but eventually, it will find its way back to you. What games can I play with a Wubbin? Here are three games we highly recommend, though you can always invent your own! 1. The Single-bounce Distance Throw - See how far you can throw the Wubbin and have it come back to you in a single bounce, catching it with your throwing hand. Be careful... the Wubbin can return quite quickly! The read-out when playing this game will show you the actual distance traveled before the bounce point shown in feet. (Metric version not yet available). See if you can beat our top throw of 281 feet! 2. The Multi-Bounce Throw - See how many bounces you can cause with a single throw and still catch it with your throwing hand. During this game, the display will show you the actual number of bounces from your last throw. Most of our staff have trouble scoring more than 8 on this one, but one of our interns is an multi-bounce expert, once achieving an astonishing 23 bounces! 3. The DC Head-Splat - Throw the Wubbin at the head of one of your dream characters. If you do it just right, it will make a "pptpip" sound and stick to their head for a moment before returning to you. Watch out on this one, or an annoyed character may try to make the same sound on your head! How do I get a Wubbin? In order to get a Wubbin, you must be able to have a lucid dream with some measure of control. Dinky Dream products are available free of charge to all lucid dreamers. When you find yourself in control of your dream, call out for a Dinky Dream representative, or simply shout out "I need a Wubbin!" If your call is heard, a representative may appear to give you your new toy. The representative may appear in any form, even as one of your friends, though he often appears as a short bald man or a basset hound. It is customary to tip your representative, so please be generous... this is the only way they make their living. A happy representative is more likely to come back to give you new toys. If the toy should appear without a representative, it is customary to leave a few dollars on the ground where you are standing. As the creator of the Wubbin, it's a bit embarrasing that I hadn't actually been able to conjure one up until last night. Even then, it was a little bit disappointing, so I'll have to try again. If you'd like to read about my misadventures with the Wubbin, I posted the story in my Dream Journal.

Haha, that's amazing.... I wasn't lucid, nor did it have the numbers on it, but I had a tiny little bouncy ball device that did exactly that in a dream and played it with it for quite a bit, logged in my first dream journal entry.. Needless to say it was both fun and fascinating as hell.
