ever been scared your never gonna wake up?

There is a thread about this on here but i couldn't find it. Anyway i had a dream yesterday in which i nearly become lucid, and i had a false awakening shortly after which i didn't spot. I then had another fa but this time i spotted it and i went on to have a few more, and i was thinking while i wwas having all these fa's about a thread on here which this person was worried he might never wake up. Eventually i did wake up but it was damn scary.

      Anyone ever feared this?

I can't say that I've ever been afraid of that. I've had maybe two FA's back to back.

So, guess what I'm saying is don't worry too much about it.

Have had a couple of FA's in a row, but came lucid after everyone - can't say I was scared I would never wake up, hey in fact at that point, I couldn't actually care if I stayed lucid for the rest of my life lol

Yeah I had that one. I kept forcefully waking myself up, and each time I woke up I was wandering whether I'm awake, but I actually believed some FAs. After like 10 FAs I finally woke myself. They happened fairly quickly though because I was actively trying to wake up, so the second a reality check showed that I'm dreaming, I would "awake" myself only to find out I'm not out yet.

What a coincidence, in school, we're writing short stories, and mine's about a guy stuck in a dream. So pour in the fear, I need a muse!
      reality check. etc...

      Never feared it, really..
But, I have had similar experience.. I been unable to wake myself up from a dream. Even when jumping head first out of a building and such..

Can be kind of boring, escpecially if one are all alone..

But, eventually I fall asleep there too!

Imagine having a Lucid Dream within a lucid dream. :s
Work Hard, Play Hard, Dream Hard, Lucid Dream Well

Dream Goals: Increase Lucidity!! Become aware of my senses, use the elements; fire, water, air, earth, fly some more, talk to DCs, find out DCs names, take dream drugs :p, ask a DC when I will die, get into a Matrix fight with hundreds of enemies like in Reloaded, get a Dream GirlFriend and have Dream Sex!

Dream Goals Achieved: 2: Have a Lucid Dream and Fly in it!

I have had a good few lucid dreams actually where it seems like it is an indestructable lucid. I can jump out of buildings, headbutt walls, feel an emotion, or anything and the lucid won't even lose any stability.

I think these lucids occur when you are really tired or when you are in the early stages of rem sleep.

This happened to me last night, i try to wake up about 6 times but i kept having fa,s aftre about the fifth time i thought i must be dead or something. In the end i just got on with the lucid and i hoped that i would wake up in a short while, as it happened when i actually decide i wanted to stay in the lucid and i am on my way with jerzy Dudek and a boy i know (we are on bikes) i wake up. (how ironic)

My LD early this morning certainly scared me,I couldn't force myself to wake up!,
I knew I was sleeping but couldn't connect back to reality..the details are in my
dream journal,Polaris' dream cellar.Sometimes my dreams have more clarity, realness
than whatever we're going through on this plane of existance.

During extreme and long SPs I get the feeling of never waking up, especially when it turns into an OBE -.-

I have had some scary lucids (not great) and my lucids are mostly very realistic.
When i have had them it seems i have no dream control so i caan't fly away or anything, so i normally find a vehicle and put my foot down.

Sounds like a scary dream btw.

It really wouldn't worry me, because I can wake up at my will in a lucid. All I gotta do is try to open my eyes.
