LD brings out my subconscience fear

In a lot of my lucid dreams, I usually fall off cliffs. It's mostly when I'm driving a car in my dream and I go off the side of a road and down a cliff. Sometimes I'm in the air for a while and I get a weird feeling in my stomache like you get when going down really fast on a rollercoaster.
Then in my dream I always try to land in water or on my feet. And I'm always alert and I take the dream seriously as if it was really happeneing, even though I know I'm dreaming.
People who have survived from great falls say they were not afraid of dying. They were more aware of their surroundings and thinking about landing on their feet. I feel this way while dreaming about falling.
And every time I get on a plane ride which is around 6 to 7 hours long, I get
bad feelings and sense that something is wrong.

I'm not scared of heights, but I think subconsciencesly I am. Or just afraid of falls and that having lucid dreams about this brings out my fear in real life.

Does this happen to anyone else? And is there a way of stopping it or getting over it? I don't want to stop having lucid dreams though but I think it sometimes gets in the way of my lifestyle.

Just learn to recognize this as a dream sign, and take control of your dream. To me it doesn't really sound like you're lucid. Maybe a tiny bit. But if you were lucid, then you'd be able to laugh and instead of falling just fly away. One of my biggest dream signs is when I am driving and suddenly my car starts veering off the road as I go around curves and I loose control. One time as I was driving on a cliff my car veered way off and I realize I was dreaming, I immediately decided to ditch the car...and flew out the window, over a lake, and enjoyed my lucid dream. Just learn how to take control.

Yes, it happens to me regularly now but with tsunami's. The first dream tsunami was probably a bit over a year ago, and since about then I can't see the sea in my dream without a tsunami being triggered. It happens incredibly often.

Some of these dreams are regular dreams, but in many I'm also lucid, and it doesn't help all that much. Most things I do often delay the tsunami but can't prevent it.

Usually when it happens I forcefully wake myself up. Lately I forcefully wake myself up if I get even a small glimpse of the sea, since I already know what is inevitably going to happen. I can often wake myself up intuitively by the way, I don't need to be lucid.

The tsunami is often huge. Mountain-sized huge.

I only managed to "stop" a tsunami once in my memory. I simply turned around and started walking calmly away, distracting myself and doing something else. I never looked back, and it never actually landed.

I also managed to delay it by a couple minutes several times. For example, one time I willed it back, like, pushed against the wave telekinetically. It reversed and slowly merged back into the sea. For the next 2-3 minutes I enjoyed watching the beautifully calm sea, until a new tsunami rose again. Another time I hid behind a slab of concrete and the tsunami passed without engulfing me, but new tsunami's kept forming, wave after wave, in 10 seconds interval or so. Seems that unless I do something really drastic, they'll keep coming.

One time, for the sake of experimenting, I just stood there and let it engulf me. When I was in the middle of it I was shaken around by the strong currents, I screamed and forced myself awake. It was just too difficult to stand.
