Thread: Another awesome lucid!

This LD occured after I WBTB. It is an example of another long and realistic LD for me.
The words in bold type are specific LD goals that I managed to recall during this LD.

I was in the suburbs, the area was somewhat hilly. We got into a white car, a vintage convertable. We had to go somewhere.
My friend Ronald was driving, I hadnt seen him for several years, then I knew I was dreaming.
I told Ron as he drove, "You know that I'm dreaming right?" He responded by steering the car off of the freeway bridge and returning to the road. A floating car ride!
Then he said, "Yeah, I know, so now you can do anything that you want right?"
He pulled over and parked, I wanted to walk from here, I said to Ron, "Watch this..." I simply levitated around his head a few times, after I landed, I told him that this was my LD and I wasn't going to be fooled by thinking that this is real life.
He smiled as Ron would, then walked away.
I stood there in the street, there were apartment bldg's everywhere, all painted white. I didnt need to RC, spin, pinch my nose, but I remembered everything that I had read recently on Dreamviews, especially the part about members loosing their LD because they get excited or fooled.
Then I decided to look for other DV members...did you hear me calling your names?
I stood in the street outside of the complex and yelled out,
"Mes Tarrant! Clarity! Iseadragon! Crazy Cat! Caradon! NeAvO! Kromoh! Sivason! Jdeadevil!"
Over and over I called out to you..."Did anyone hear me in their sleep?" I wondered.
Silence...no one around, I decided to go into one of the bldg's. I remarked to myself as to the level of this LD, the sun was out, I could hear birds, there was a slight breeze, it was a very nice LD day for me.
I thought about working on my LD goal, which was to be someone or something other than myself from now on. I stopped walking and I looked down. I was wearing a white shirt and white pants, barefoot. The shirt was unbuttoned, and for a moment I almost began to change my gender, but I decided against it.
That would have been too easy at the moment, I had other plans in mind.
As I stood there on the sidewalk, I was thinking about how well that this LD was going to sound to my friends at Dreamviews tomorrow. I thought about those members that are working at improving their LD skills, those that are just starting out, and the ones that are having problems or going through a dry spell.
I even thought to myself, "I will go into one of those homes, find a computer, and log on to Dreamviews!"
A female DC appeared next to me as we approached the nearest building. I remembered reading in DV's recently about a member putting his hand through his face, so I decided to give it a try. I raised my right hand and it simply passed through my face in a kind of ghost fasion, no big deal, way too easy! I even remembered to hold my nose, I couldnt breath! So much for those methods!
We entered a corridor, similar to the one's that Neo and everyone used in the Matrix.
We walked along, several doors were open as we passed, we would look inside and see all varieties of DC's watching TV, eating, or just looking back at us.
We continued walking, I called out some names again just in case they didnt hear me. I asked the DC girl next to me about this long LD and how can I have them more often. She said, "You know that the WBTB and DILD always work for you" I agreed and added that I would like just to have them more often. She smiled and we entered a room. She was wearing a white toga.
Sleeping on the floor, was the brown stallion, my potential 'Dream Guide'. He lifted his head and looked up at me, I guess he recognized me, he got up, stretchiing as horses do. For a moment, he appeared as an Apaloosa, then returned to the brown color.
I took a moment to check my 'dream meter' as I realized that I have been in this LD for some time now, but everything was going just fine with no indications of fading.
I resumed walking along the corridor, the female DC led the stallion along next to us. She asked me, "So what are you going to do next?"
I really didnt know at the time, I was so caught up in the moment. All the elements for everything I want to do are here, a DC girl that looks sort of Latina, my brown stallion dreamguide, so what am I to do next?
The DC led me into a bedroom, but no bed or furniture, just a lot of thick conforters scattered on the floor, she spoke to me.
"Come in, lets all lay down here, you will be waking up soon so we should all just take a nap before that happens.'
She and the stallion laid down, I lay down next to her, the body of the horse pressing against my side, I was hoping that he wouldnt roll over on top of me. We spent several minutes getting situated and comfortable.
We settled down, the last image that I saw was of the three of us laying together on the floor as the 'camera' rose through the ceiling.

Friends...if you read this post slowly, with lots of pauses, you can get an idea as to how long that this LD was. The walking time was real, I had time to think things over, ponder my next move, enjoy the surroundings, talk to someone, I even called out some members names!
How much more lucid could I have been than that?
I'm hoping that one day, some of us will meet in our dreams and exchange information that can only be revealed if you were there!
