Try the Task of the Month!

I've been doing the tasks of the month since I joined DV and I find that the challenge they provide has significantly improved my dreaming experience. My recall, control, number of LDs, and length of LDs have significantly improved. I'm sure that many people could benefit from the motivation as I have, even if you aren't experienced with LDing or dream control. A challenge will motivate you. I found one of last month's tasks to be particularly difficult and as a result of my repeated efforts, I experienced a number of things for the fist time, including: WILDing on purpose Flying Intentionally changing scenes Teleporting short distances Reading full sentences I also had my longest LD so far. So if you want to become good at LDing try the tasks. The worst that happens is you fail, but learn some things in the process.

Yes, doing the tasks are a good way to motivate yourself... Damn, had a lot of ld's last night but I've seem to be in lack of my flying skills for some time now, my dreamcontrol has however radicaly improved, gonna stay on diet watching "Heroes" and "Smallville" now so that I'll get them back

I'm definitely eating my hand in my next lucid. AspiR challenged me to, and Luminous assured me it would count. I'm not too sure about the beanstalk thing though. I think I'm going to walk on water instead. I like the PacMan badge better, anyway.
