Wink Do you know what LDing is?

      Hello,
Stupid title I know, but hey I could think of nothing else.

To the point; lately I have been asking DC's once lucid if they know was LDing and lucid dreaming was. (Yes I know it is the same thing, but maybe they do not know what LDing is verse lucid dreaming lol)

Again to the point, I have been getting a nice little mix of funny answers but I have not had a DC yet that has known what LDing or lucid dream was.

Here are some of my answers:
In dream this morning I asked an old lady painting a wall what LDing was. She just looked at me all dumb like and said "What?" When I asked again but asked if she know was Lucid Dreaming was she said the same thing.

A group of little kids happened to walk by in the same dream and I asked them the same question. Three of them answer me and the Forth a girl said there was no such thing and I should stop asking dumb nonsensical questions.

In a dream I had a few days a go I ask a group of guys (yes guys because they were not old enough to be men lol) if they know what LDing was. They told me they didn't know. I the asked a group of near by girls and after getting an answer of "I don't know" One turned to me and told me LDing was insufferable and then walked off.

In a dream before that I asked a group of girls standing by another group if they knew. They told me it was a big puss filled sack on the side. A guy from the other group turned to correct her saying she was so stupid and that is was three big flaps of skin like gills on the side. That one made me laugh so much I woke up.

So back to the point once more. I was wondering if and of you have asked a DC this question and got bizarre answers like me. If not will you be willing to try this for a task and report back on your answers?

      D.G.
P.S. I think I am going to keep asking my DC’s if they know what LDing is until I get a correct answer. I want to see how many times it takes me. Lol. Stupid I know, but I now I am really interested.

You're asking the wrong question. Some DCs are artificial constructs of who-knows-what, whilst others act "aware".

You need to discern the "aware" ones from the phantoms.. and I know of no better way to do so than to ask: "Are you an inorganic being?" If they answer in the affirmative, then they are "aware".

My definition of lucid dreaming is "being aware that you are dreaming." My old definition was "being conscious while you're dreaming." However, the line between a lucid and nonlucid dream is beginning to become blurred for me. I feel like I am conscious during all my dreams; the only difference is being aware of my current state.

I have trouble finding people to talk to in my lucid dreams. It's probably a mental barrier, just like flying, walking, teleportating, etc. One of my latest missions has been to find someone to ask "What is the nature of this experience?" I asked it out loud last night (to no one), and the response was a sudden change in dream scenery.
