Thread: first LD - MILD

I think I had my first LD (on the first attempt!) last night, im not sure though--

I was talking with a friend in a normal dream, then i suddenly fell asleep. I was thinking, 'hey why did i just fall asleep', so I did a RC, and my suspicions were confirmed. I said to myself 'I am dreaming' but nothing happened. I realized that I didn't know what to do once I knew I was dreaming. I was still asleep in bed, as in the dream.

So I opened my eyes. Here's where I start to get confused, did i open my dream body's eyes or did I actually wake up?

After opening my eyes my whole body felt tingly and I sat up. I felt cold, but then i remembered people saying to just imagine things like you want them to be, so i imagined myself getting warmer, and i did.

i immediately tried to fly (mistake, now i know) and for some reason or another I accidentally opened my eyes and woke up.

inside my 'lucid' dream i felt like i had full control of my body just like in the real world, so much so that I'm not sure whether i actually was controlling my body in the real world. Is this supposed to happen? this, in addition to me feeling cold after sitting up, makes me think i was actually in reality and not lucid dreaming..
