Do not rush off to do things without stabilizing. |

Spinning is quoted as the most reliable stability technique, because it focuses on sensations of the entire body within the dream. |

Some people are able to transform the dream scene, but many people have expressed exasperation with the method. I never use it, because it always wakes me up. They asked from our experiences, what we think people shouldn't do. I think it's dumb to waste a lucid spinning around and waking yourself up |

Don't eat your house. >_> |

What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?
Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?
But LaBerge said it, so it must be true! [/blind belief statement] |

Don't let anything but solid evidence convince you that it's not a LD. Do reality checks. Don't assume you're actually awake just because the dream isn't going how you want it or someone tells you otherwise... |

Oooh I have two more! |

- Don't think that you have to do something quick because your dreams always end quick. That's probably why your dreams end quick (because you think they will). |

Last night I WILDed. Colors were almost like black and white so I decided to close my eyes for a sec and open it. Just when I closed my eyes, I woke up. I'm still mad at myself |

Spinning works for me. |

Dont rush into things (already sed but meh) this always makes my lucidity slip away slowly |
|
Spinning works for me. I've had a few times where I went blind, and the best thing to do there is visually rebuild the scene instead of opening your eyes. What I experience is either: |

There's only one main thing for me, and that's NOT to get your hopes up. Unfortunately they have to end, and it's impossible to do everything you want to do in one lucid. And I agree w/ those who said don't exert too much energy. If it doesn't work, don't try it. |
|
I guess, not dying helps |
|
Dont walk behind me, I may not lead. Dont walk infront, I may not follow. Walk beside me and be my friend.
Don't summon your enemies so you can fight them. One killed me in a lucid once... |
|
I love DEILD! SP is pwnage!
Dying can for some lead to waking up. For me I just start another dream or I rise again. I can't really die. |

Life in a box is better than no life at all, I expect. You'd have a chance, at least. You could lie there thinking, "Well. At least I'm not dead.'
