how to remember what I want to do?

      Hi everyone!
Starting from the point that I donīt know in what dream I'm going to realize it's a dream again. When I get lucid, I barely remember what I planned to do before going to bed and I go through the LD just improvising.
      So this is the question:
how can I exactly remember what I want to do in my next LD once I get lucid?

I just try to remember 1 or at most 2 things that I plan to do. When I'm going to sleep I keep repeating those tasks to myself in my head.

My problem is that almost all the times I planned something to do, I didn´t get lucid. I got lucid long after I planned something. Once I got lucid I was thinking more in the context of the dream than in what I wanted to do. I don´t exactly remember what I planned to do and I go on with the dream context or I lose lucidity trying to remember.

I would suggest making a habit of, upon attaining ludicity, making a point of stopping whatever you are doing, and trying to remember your plans.

If you are doing reality checks while awake, each time you do so, you could note to yourself that if the reality check had've shown you to be dreaming, you should have stopped to remember your plans, in order to build an association between reality checking and remembering your plans.

If you are able to make a habit of this, then hopefully you will not have to do much to remember your plans for LDs beyond simply affirming them to yourself before sleep.

I second archdreamer's suggestion. Incorporate those questions into your reality check process. Make it into habit.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't need to remind myself what I wanted to do. The one lucid-ish dream I had last year (basically, I knew it was a dream, and I could do some stuff, but couldn't really make what I wanted to happen happen) it was the first thing I thought of!

after reading your answers I started to think about my plans as I used to RC during day (I'm not performing RC's by now since I just started to realize I'm dreaming)
What happened was that the first LD I had after doing that, I remembered to do a thing I wanted to do a very long time ago because of the dream context! The next one, I was not able to stabilize myself into the dream because of I decided to RC by flying due to the dream context again!
anyway, I will keep in mind during all day what I want to do, may be next dream I will finally remember what I planned.
      thanks for the answers
