ok this is offical my next goal even surpassing the lucid tasks of the month for the time being. I really want to do parkour Mirrors edge intensity, for thoes of you who dont know parkour is free-running, meaning jumping from building to building, or more officially: An athletic discipline in which practitioners, known as traceurs, traverse any environment in the most efficient way possible using their physical abilities, and which commonly involves running, jumping, vaulting, rolling and other similar physical movements here are some mirrors edge pics, it is a great game and i highly recommenced it! who else would want to try to have a parkour/mirrors edge themed dream?

Ever since I first saw a commercial for Mirror's Edge I've wanted to do this too. The movement in the commercial just reminded me so much of a lucid dream anyway that the next logical thing would be to actually try it I figured.

Parkour is NOT freerunning, the two disciplines share common movements but completely different philosophies. I've been doing parkour for four years now, so I don't want to get into a debate about what it is or is not, I'm just trying to make things clear. Anyhow a parkour lucid dream has been my goal for a while and sounds awesome. Post whenever you achieve one it should be a cool experience. . goodluck man.

I love parkour! Well, I love watching it. I'm not nearly athletic enough to actually do it. One time I dreamed I was running somewhere with a friend, and we were leaping over tables and rails, kinda like baby parkour. Unfortunately we didn't get to scale any buildings or do anything very hard.

I love lucid parkour. It's one of my favorite things to do. Being able to jump insanely high, float, and run straight up walls is a plus. Heh. So much fun.

plan to do something like this when I get up enough lucid skill to have several a week. Because once I do that I will be starting my Kingdom Hearts Series RPG in lucids, where I will be re-enacting the whole series as Sora, and than again as Roxas. And that requires some parkour.

Yea. Freerunning is more style wise like incorporating flips and such. I practice parkour myself. But definetly, parkour in a dream would be intense!!!

When I first got mirror's edge and I was playing it a lot I started to have parkour in my regular dreams. The most vivid one I had I remember climbing down like a 10 story hotel. I was in this room with this girl right, and i was about to have some fun, see, and then we had to split up and she said she'd meet me down at the lobby. I had no idea what to do so i looked at the window and jumped out. I was standing on the ledge like you do in the game, and I just turned and dropped down from ledge to ledge. When I got to the lobby I jumped through the glass window and walked to the front desk. I thought it was weird how I did that with my arms, but I didn't get lucid =(.

I parkour in normal dreams and its hectic as, don't even need lucid As for mirror's edge, YES it is the greatest thing ever atm. The only critisim I have of it in relation to its parkouringness, is the way Faith breathes. The long distance parkour she does requires correct circular breathing which she doesn't do; she's all mouth. Still great though! I wanna see portal meets mirror's edge now.
