How many false awakenings can u have? >:O

Last night, well in the morning
      At 7 a.m. -10 a.m.

I had about 4-5 false wakenings that kinda annoyed me
but I became lucid about 3 times from those false awakenings

      What's your false awakening best?

I think my best is just 3 in a row. I rarely become lucid from FAs though.

I've about 4, and i love them because its easy for me to get into a lucid. Sometimes though, it can be hard.

      Consider this...

how many times have you waken up? During the course of your entire life?
When you do.. do you always remember where you were before (in dream)?
If not.. (and the answer surely is no, atleast here now) did you wake here in a dream, from another, and where were you before? this life? this dream?

and so when will the true awakening occur? that is not a 'false awakening'?
and then, will it be true awakening, of just another dream awakening?
will the journy of change finish itself, at a final spirit resting place, or will you take of again, to another place, and have it all be just another .. false.. awakening.

When I was little, I would FA and go to the bathroom, which meant I was wetting my bed. I did this at least 10 times. Not in a row, just total.

same as John11, just 3 in a row. it was so unnerving.
Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead...only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

The most I've had in one morning was 6 and they all turned into nightmares.

Not the best morning. (Also this was before I knew a thing about Lucid Dreaming)

Oh, I have a long history with those. Many of my Lucid Dreams have been triggered by false awakenings over the past months, which were often caused by minor sounds within my room, some of which I recognize.

For instance, during the weekends of my course semesters, there were many times when I was falsely awakened by my cellphone's battery-low jingle. Upon hearing it, I would think to myself, "darn it...I forgot to put my phone on the blasted recharger again." Afterward, I either remained in my current dream, now in a lucid state, or I would find myself within my bedroom with the impression that I am awake, but later find that I am still dreaming after finding myself gliding down over the staircase and slithering on the floors.

Oh, and, as far as I can remember, I've only had one false awakening in all of the particular dreams in which they occurred.

My record would have to be around five. A demon had just threatened to kill me. I said 'Ah, screw it' and opened my eyes, needless to say, I had to repeat that several times.

Another good one would be a recent dream in which I had constant false awakenings. I would act normal for a bit then notice something strange and continue my lucid dream as if I never had an FA.

Well, hundreds of times I did. duno if it counts as a REAL false awakening but in my most recent dream (only napped for 30 minutes), i lived over a week or 2 inside dreamland, always waking up in the same bed. For the first 4-6 awakenings, i was oblivious to dreaming but after i became lucid i tried out some stuff. . . like using 'magic' powers, changing objects into something else, meeting people and making friends (lol how useless would that be.. :X ) and then ALWAYS something happens to me. I get hurt, i get killed, etc. and i wake up in the same bed... but i also heard the 'real' world thru my dream, such as people coming in and out of their dorm doors, the hall, etc...

and when i realise ive had enough of this freakish world i paniked and ATTEMPTED to force myself to wake up...

needless to say, i woke up again and again and again and again *MANY times, hundreds of times, waking up on the same bed and finally i got up i cried in my dream, i prayed to some unknown force to release me, that i was sorry for whatever i did... and tHEN i woke up. looked at the clock and a mere 30 min passed. . .

weird thing was, i was in positions in the dream such as in a hospital where i could ponder how ppl in a coma feel like. in so many life situations. so many problems. i cant help but think . . . was someone or something trying to teach me a lesson here??
