      Disturbing/Nightmarish Experiences?

Having never actually had an LD, I'm curious about terrifying/disturbing experiences in LD's, or Sleep Paralysis.

Not that I'm afraid, no, merely because I'm interested. If I can ever achieve an LD (don't have time for WBTB), I would want to experience something mind-opening and what not.

So, what are your experiences/views on this?

Shaking sensations, sinking through your bed, whispers, a lot to experience. Personally, it is awesome. I usually can't wait until I get to the whispers during SP.

Ah, SP and the voices and weird vibrations are so great, wish I could have it... but for some reason SP was replaced with "dull" after a special WILD <.<
On LD, the girl called "fear" thats supposed to be all my fears or past fears in 1, pretty scary to face her, its so cool too.

I didn't really notice the "whispers" for the longest time, but they were there. One night I just tried listening to what they were saying, it was like people were having conversations with me that were completely unrelated to anything I'd ever talked with them about.

For me thats the weirdest experience.

Crescendos of white noise, falling through the mattress, seeing myself in odd proportions, having my viewpoint metres away from where my eyes actually are. Heard some whispering once, kinda like hearing someone talk in the other room, but haven't heard much.

Meeting DC's that seem to have more authority than me, and more knowledge about my dream, kind of like the 'dream police' idea some people get, only more like a 'dream god', usually these DC's tell me I am not allowed to do certain things (but I always just remind myself that I am the most powerful thing in my dream)

My friends in dreams having trouble accepting that it is a dream, some of the conversations are really strange, like talking to a friend if they were heavily heavily drugged or had dementia... sometimes unsettling (again I just remind myself that they are only images of people I know, and not real)

I was just thinking about this today. As I lay down to have a quick nap and see if I could get something lucid out of it I realised I hadn't eaten since I woke up (the first time that is, woke up this morning, not after my quick nap). I've been thinking alot about if your waking state or what state your body is in for example before you go do lucid can interfere with how this dream is going to occur to you. Like if you're feeling sad, depressed, negative, frightened. If those things might help being triggers of the mood of your dream.

I had a really violent and blurry dream when I fell asleep after not eating at all after about 5 hours of awake. Just thinking, It makes sense in a way. If your body is focusing on something unpleasant like being hungry or being scared.

but hey, it's an experience anyway I guess
