      Static Degeneration.

I am pissed off. Last night, I had my first Lucid experience that I can remember.
In the dream, one of my brace brackets broke off, and since I had read that things like these were common, I did the nose pinch RC. I could breathe easily, and I became Lucid.
At this point, maybe it was the pure exhilaration of having completed a successful DILD, but whatever it was, the dream became massively fuzzy, like a TV with no reception, and after that, I lost lucidity, but throughout the dream, I kept some sort of semi-lucidity, i.e. I could still influence small events, like at the end, I was able to influence what I said to the people.

      This ever happen to anyone?
P.S. I will write up the dream later on today.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. I am the Resurrection and the Life.

I am the Light at the End of the Tunnel.

hi! congratulations on your first LD! I think you just subconsciously thought you might loose lucidity or that dreaming is hard so your imagination made the static. The harder you would have thought it would be getting rid of the static the more there would have been, with practice if this were ever to recur just assume that "getting rid of it is very easy" and it should go away, but since it's just the first LD chances are you won't see any static at all in the next dreams.

I've had similar experiences sometimes with false awakenings- either my eyesight would be "damaged" or something like that, or I would be drunk, but as soon as I forgot about those things and instead shifted my focus to doing something else the last time I had it it went away. Keep practicing!

So, was that your first teeth dream then? I haven't lately, but I used to have teeth dreams all of the time. I had braces when I was younger, now I'm on my second phase. I've also had 11 teeth pulled out (4 of which were adult), so having this experience, I guess, made them happen more to someone who hasn't had as much things happen to their teeth. Some of my teeth dreams include: me gritting my teeth and not being able to stop, adult teeth falling out, getting my second phase of braces before I'd had them, etc.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.
