First LD - WILD

i've been coming to this site for around 8 months and decided not to join until i had my first LD. took longer than i first hoped, but i digress.

i found out one of my classes was canceled and decided to take my chances at a nap wild. after like 20 minutes i finally got into a dream. i thought to myself, "OK!! first lucid dream, what should i do!?" so i decided to go flying, which made it hard to stay lucid, but i kept control. then i flew out into space and could feel the cold, and looked back at the earth. totally amazing. then i lost all lucidity after trying to fly back to earth. but i didn't think i would even manage to fly in my first LD.

wow 8 months? it's nice to see people here who are persistent and really is interested in lucid dreaming.

I'm in the situation as FlyAway, I've had 5 DILDs and haven't been able to fly yet!

And sentaku and flyaway... how have you not flown? Did you just forget to try?

To solve your flying problem: Try a swimming flying type thing. Swim through the air. Its not really too fast, but its still fun. Or, get on a broomstick and fly like that. And of course, practice. I can fly as fast as I want now.
