Has anyone ever tried to replay a memory in an LD, i havent been able to but I'm wondering if anyone can do this, if you cant and your reading this then I chalenge you to try this out sometime. |

Well if this is actually an experiment, like you want to control the variables and test something, then this belongs in the research forum. If you just want to hear about peoples' experiences doing this, then this is the right place. |

I don't think it can be done. All dreams are based on memories, but they're never quite the same as the original. Plus memories aren't absolute, they change over time. Dreaming is probably the process of rearranging your memories. |

Well the idea is that maybe our subconcious can replay the event with much more detail and bring back feelings of sound taste emotions etc etc. I have had non-lucid dreams of memories that felt very realistic, if you were to be lucid you could possibley choose the memory you want to relive. Hope that cleard things up, |

When I tried to remember things in LDs I usually remembered them incorrectly. Not that I realized it at the time, but after waking up it became obvious. |
