2 Lucid Dreams a Night on average.

I've had lucid dreams since I was 5 yrs old.(Rarley do I get a non-lucid dream.) The deal is, I get iritated at lucid dreams. and instead of changing it, I think "Well, It's probably time for me to get up now anyway." So I wake myself up. and it will be at 5:00 am. Then I just go back to sleep and Have another LD and do not wake myself up that time. This happens sometimes. I was just wondering, Is it dangerous to cut the REM sleep short?
Perhaps my next goal is to avoid getting irritated.

Dangerous? I don't think so, no. Welcome to the site by the way

Just curious, how do you wake yourself up? That's always been a problem for me in lucid nightmares

Alot things will do it, blinking your eyes rapidly, imagine yourself lying in bed.
Also, Panic! Some adrenaline will wake you up .

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid! I'm looking for something more convenient than being scared half to death.

      imagine yourself lying in bed.
Hm...never thought of that, thanks for the tip

Another thing, when you can't move in a dream(nightmare), it is because you have become shocked, which causes awareness. so then, when you try to move, you are actually trying to move your REAL self(fighting the sleep paralysis) instead of your dream self. What helps for me when this happens is floating away.
I understand that this isn't for waking yourself up, but Avoiding nightmares, and still getting to enjoy the lucid dream.
