      Last Night

In between dreams (about 7 in the morning), I remember consciously thinking "man i wish i could have a lucid dream." while staring at a ceiling, it wasn't my ceiling but I didn't notice. I kept talking to myself reminding myself to be calm etc. a dream would start soon.

Then I realized it wasn't my ceiling. I realized I was in a dream and lucid..
I couldn't move suddenly I was terrified. I just wanted to have a lucid sex dream but as soon as I realized I was already in a dream I was too scared to even look around. I don't know what I was scared of but I was so terrified I didn't dare try to move.

Lasted maybe a minute before someone walked by my room and woke me up.

Worst lucid dream ever. I am seriously afraid to try to lucid dream again.

Sorry to hear your experience was unpleasant. However, it's not very productive to fear all lucid dreaming merely because your first one was bad. You mention that "you didn't know what you were scared of." That's a sign that if you were more aware of your dreaming state, you would have realized this in the dream, and ceased to be afraid. Identifying illogical points in lucid dreams helps you to avoid those illogical reactions in the future (within your dream, that is), so for that, good job, and keep it up.

Remember, nothing can hurt you in a dream. There truly is no reason to fear. Imagine yourself, in that same dream, but knowing this. What would you have done next?

wasn't my first lucid dream ive had around 30. I was just terrified beyond belief. I've never felt fear like this before. I knew nothing was real and it was all created by my mind, but I couldn't get past the fear.

but this is my first lucid dream I've had in a year or so. that could be it. thanks for the advice.
