I now understand the power of imagination

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized there was a better forum for this, someone please move this, to the General Dreams Discussion I guess.

First let me say, this isn't technically a lucid dream, but I didn't know where else to put it. It's a false awakening that happened when I woke up intending to log a normal dream in my journal this morning, and I really wanted to share it. I suspect that this happened because I spent most of yesterday, including hours before going to bed, researching psychedelic drugs like DMT (some of which I have experimented with, but most of which I haven't). So here it is, copied from my dream journal, the psychedelic false awakening that showed me the true power of the mind:

7:45 - I don't remember the dream I'd been having before because the world I awoke into this time was far too distracting. When I woke up, my room was pitch black, and I could see delusions of my clock being on the wall in front of me instead of to the right and the face was glowing blue and twitching back and forth as the hands warped all over it chaotically. Alarmed, I moved my arms and found that they had very dream-like tracers, as did everything else. I went out into the hallway to tell my mom that I was already up (which is notable, because my mom was actually going to wake me up today instead of my dad), and all of the colors in the hallway were melting, and anything that was creating its own light was acting like a strobe light. When I tried to talk, my voice was very raspy and stuttered and my mom's response was hesitant, and I thought to myself, "Damn, she probably knows I'm on something, but what the hell did I take!?". I went into the bathroom and found out that everything looked wildly out of proportion, including myself as I saw in the mirror. I looked at my eyes which had gigantic pupils and irises that were wavy and glowed neon green. More things around me began to twist into crazier hallucinations, and since I had absolutely no idea what was going on, I freaked out and woke up right as I said "What...the fuck?". It still feels like it really happened, it was amazingly vivid. Kind of like a cross between multiple types of trips, a normal false awakening dream, and a warped imagination.
