      Magic =D

      Last night I had my first LD in a few days. I didn't take any supplements or anything of the sort, but it was pretty vivid.

      I became lucid in some random community building, whatever, while I was walking down a staircase/well. I was like, 'hey! I don't know this place... I must be dreaming'. I messed up and tried doing math to ground myself into the dream, instead of rubbing my hands or whatever, but it seemed to work. ^^;

      I entered a bigger room, like a reception room in a big business building, and I decided to try doing some magic. I held my hand out in almost a cupping shape, and I imagined a blue ball of electricity floating in my hand, and it worked. I then kind of thrusted my arm out and it went in that direction, in the form of a beam. All the while I was imagining that these things would happen. However, I couldn't change location after that, which was really frustrating. I tried to open the doors by kicking them, but it felt like they were made of steel. How could I get past this, and get through something to the other side?
      We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
      some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      I'm not sure, but perhaps you were confided to the room because you had focused so much strength in what you previously were doing that your brain was too strained to continue? It might have been your brain telling you that: "No, that's enough, no frolicing about any longer - perhaps next time."

      Oh, there's one thing, though. Did you attempt to move through the obstacles? I see on your signature that you've yet to "Phase through an object," and I suppose that would've been a great opportunity for you.

      Oh, jeeze, I just realized that. That would've been a great thing to attempt. Thanks. =P

      COngratulations on your LD! Also you might try teleporting instead of phasing. Just intend to be some where that you want to be then relax. I have found in my dreams that when I was trying to fly with physical strength (dream strength) nothing really happened. Once I let go & let it happen it did.

      Just like with your ball of electricity. You didn't try to make it form. You just wanted it to and it did. Its almost easier with things like this.

      lastly, one time while I was flying it was as though I hit an invisible barrier & I couldn't fly anyfurther. Intuitively I flew to my barrier and hung out for a few seconds before I tried to fly further. Lo & behold when I did try again I made it just a little bit further. Kinda like I have to learn to crawl b4 walking.

      Happy Trails!!!
