      Funny Accidental WILD

It's been a long time since I posted anything. I still float around in the background here so I don't forget about LDing.

Well, last night I had an LD that I think is funny enough to post.

I woke up about 8AM this morning after about 6hrs of sleep. Used the BR and watered the Sahara desert in my mouth then went back to bed. It was difficult getting back to sleep, but as soon as I did I immediately noticed I was drifting and ended up in a WILD.

It was pretty freaky. I've never had one, and I remember hearing my heart rate getting extremely fast and it made me really paranoid. After a minute of this strange transition I was in a city street. I was a little excited because I knew I had just completed a WILD, but the dream started fading fast.

So, I spun around a bunch, which almost always works. But, since I could tell it wasn't working I knew that I was having a false awaking. So I woke and immediately plugged my noise but could still breathe through it.

So, I look around. I'm in one of my exGFs room and shes in the bed next to me... so I figure hey it's just a dream, why not? So I roll over onto her, but she tells me I have morning breath. I'm like, "why does that matter this is a dream?"

"It's not a dream. Go brush your teeth."

"Okaaaay..." So, I'm brushing my teeth thinking, why am I bothering with this?

So, I go back out to the bed and I crawl back on top of her, but she is intent on convincing me it's not a dream. The problem here is that in RL I won't have sex unless I'm married, so now I feel obligated to figure this out.

"This feels like a dream. If it's not why is my head all fuzzy?"

"Your stuck in between. It's like your sleep walking, but this is actually happening."

So, now I'm like, whoa, what if she is right? I can't have sex with my ex girlfriend. So I dont.

      And then I wake up.

"Uggggh, she's even a deceitful DC!"

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Oh, you mean that obvious thing I should have noticed? Yeah, I never catch that stuff.

I have the most bizarre dreams, and yet I have always had the hardest time LDing simply because I don't ever question my surroundings.

Just keep a piece of paper in your pocket and whip it out whenever you either see something that reminds you of your dreams or whenever you remember to, and ask yourself what about your surroundings tells you that you are in a dream, or not in a dream. That's all it takes for me.

Mmm.. Just LD's. IRL I'm a huge day dreamer. My whole life I have always wanted to be a comic book artist, so I've always been in my own little world. I guess that's why when I have these bizarre dreams, I'm dismissing them as day dreams.

I saw you mentioning this on a previous thread. That's a pretty good RC, since it doesn't look strange to people around you. The RC that I do most is pinching my nose and trying to breathe through it, however I think that may be to easy. Like I can just do it real quick without putting any real thought into it, so it's like I'm not taking the RC seriously.

Actually, now that I am typing all this... I think I'll just RC every time I have a day dream.

I support RCing when you realize you're daydreaming.

You should educate yourself on OBE experiences or Mutual Dreaming/shared dreaming.

It might be interesting if you could talk to your exgirlfirend and find out what her dreams have been like the past couple of days.

I have had a regular history with visiting other people in dreams. If it were my dream this is what happened. However, you be the judge.

I dare you to ask your ex he he he I am being so childish but if you do you gotta post your results here!
Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality

Well, as cool as that would be... me and my ex aren't exactly on speaking terms. That relationship ended in a burning firey ball of treacherous backstabbing.

But since it was a three year relationship she still frequents my dreams.

      Great stuff!! Thanks for posting.

Yeah, it was really very clever of her to take it to an area where you believe it just MIIIIGHT actually be true... we don't know for a fact if shared dreaming or OBEs are possible, and I think deep inside most of us believe it's a possibility at least. So she tapped into a grey territory where no proof exists... stunning you into dismay.

You gotta marvel at the cleverness of the dreaming mind!
