Lightbulb Such a weird feeling... Lucidity?

Last night i had many dreams, wbtb at 9am and fell asleep trying to fild. I failed and it was so hot, i decided to fall asleep. After that i had 3 very vivid dreams and i think one of them was lucid. The reason is because it felt totaly different from any other dream i ever had.

It was a bit more like a nightmare cause (don't know why) I first saw a little girl in the corner of the bathroom i was in. I came in through an open window. After that i was panicing a bit, but became more relaxed over time. I wanted to get away from that place and consciously decided to move, but couldn't see where i was going. It was like i couldn't focus on things, when i wanted to see them (like LD that isn't vivid and u have no control over it) so everytime i wanted to move somewhere, i did a step and waited 'till the dizziness stopped so the thing i was looking at formed and I could focus my next step. Finaly i came to a painting on a wall which i could barely see. At that point i told myself something like: "Ok you are dreaming" or "Do a RC, you are dreaming" etc..

After that i think i lost it, but i remember that after that feeling, i had a normal dream still looking at that painting, just that i could normaly see the whole thing, while before i only saw it briefly. Like i would be drunk and my point of view narrowed and it was all dizzy and spinning.

Notice, i never had a LD but did have many normal dreams recalled and this was nothing like the rest. So was this a lucid one?

      Cheers

EDIT: When i woke up, i was so mad at myself for not remembering to look at my hands and rub them together

After some browsing through someones DJ i found out that he consciously knew that he was dreaming, but didn't feel the awake lucid feeling yet. After a while he did, but seems like i somehow lost it while attempting to RC. So theoreticly i wasn't lucid yet?
Still a good shot tho, i'm getting closer I did use a mantra before falling asleep, will try the same tonight. Hopefully i'll succeed. You could say that i can't wait to attain lucidity since i'm trying for a while now, but am afraid that getting too excited would ruin it. I did tell myself that night that i will 100% get lucid and got the closest so far.

Do you remember realizing that it was a dream, or having some burst of awareness? Usually that's the key sign that indicates lucidity. I've sometimes done RCs and said I'm dreaming even when I wasn't lucid, so...
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yes i actualy do, I am somehow aware a lot easier if it's a nightmare since the first (and the only) time i actualy thought Check your hands, do a nose RC was when i had a terrible nightmare, but it was too late cause i already woke up. Anyway this time i kind of kept imagining something terrible so i would still be aware of things, but it was so hard to form them, it took time. The most lucid moment was at the end, but then it stopped and continued as a normal dream i guess. Maybe i was more like "ok you were lucid now" and wanted to quit the dream. I am not sure what i told myself, but in my mind i knew i was dreaming. I guess it was kind of half lucid cause i didn't have the feeling i was lucid, just aware that i am dreaming. In any way, it's a nice step forward since progress keeps you going

There's varying levels of lucidity, so even if it was only partial, I'd say you definitely had an LD, congrats. :3

Thank you today i've spent almoast a whole day reading and understanding how the dreams work, how to get some control and keep them vivid. I can't wait to fall asleep again, i guess i'll stay with MILD, since my RC didn't transfer to the dream world yet and i only got to SP with WILD (not wbtb). Seems like a good technique to start with. Tnx for the confirmation Puffin, i dind't know what to think of it.
