      Sleep Paralysis to LD

I know a lot of people use Sleep Paralysis (SP) to induce lucidity (including me.) I was just curious if everyone goes from SP to LD the same way and if it feels the same. First , pretty much every time i SP I obviously cant move and when I open my eyes (not really opening them) I see my room. When I get SP my body kind of feels like its vibrating. Anyways I close my eyes, relax, and almost just try to fall asleep (even though im already sleeping) and tell myself over and over, "Im about to be dreaming" so Ill become lucid when I re-fall asleep. The feeling is awesome, it feels like I sink through the bed and like fall into my LD. These LD's arent usually as clear and dont last as long though, my longest and clearest LDs are when I realize im dreaming after a False Awakening.

Just curious, why do you re-fall asleep after opening your dream eyes? Do you ever just get out of your dream bed with your dream body? That's what I always do. Might be the best thing, considering that your best lucid come from FA's. Because that's pretty much what that would be.

I guess I just never have been able to do that. Actually, for a couple of years, I struggled with sleep paralysis. It always freaked me out and i would be trying to wake myself up when it happened. It was only until recently when I was able to use it as a way to go lucid. Because when i go into sleep paralysis its like I open my eyes, see my room and am like locked to my bed. It took me until a while ago to make myself realize what it was while it was happening and turn it into a positive thing (LD).
