Yes, I can confirm this. I went on a vacation to Alaska, and used very little electronics (computer, ipod, and such). And my dream recall there was fantastic! Then I came back here, and starting...

Last night I had my second lucid dream in two nights. For me, quite an accomplishment. Even more impressive (for me, at least) was that I entered lucidity by way of a method I'd given up on: namely...

That's a great ADA practice. It's also quite possible, that you not waking up due to RC. You just have short LDs. I used to have very short ones, no matter if I RCd or stabilized or not. Many...

This looks interesting. it seems a creative and critical style of ADA. how long have you been doing this ?

Reality checks should not be used just as physical action, but they should be used to focus on awareness at that moment, but as gab said it seems you have subconsciously linked that RC to waking up....

Good luck! I RC like 1/10 dreams. It never had a negative effect on me, but it was quite useless. If I think it might be a dream, then I just stop myself and do something awesome and not dangerous...

^^ Sounds like a genuine WILD to me, Sam, or at least a DILD with an extremely brief lapse of sleep between wake and dream. Unintentional? Are you sure? sometimes our desires and expectations...

Feels like I have been in this dream for a long time. Spencer and I are caught up in a North Korean camp or something. We go through a bunch of lines and stuff before something happens and everyone is able to escape. Spencer and I make a run for it but we can't fit up the ladder. So we jump into the bay/moat. Somehow I get pulled back out, and the supreme leader or another powerful North Korean is there with several unnamed guards. He of course tells me of his evil plan before I ultimately escape and set out to foil it. Sometime during that Spencer faded from the dream, and it never crosses my mind. I get a boat from somewhere, and sail Minecraft style for what was apparently a long distance. I reach a snowy place that is called Naria (according to the NKs), and stumble around in the couple night before coming to a place whee the snow is much shallower. I slide down into it and find myself sitting outside of a shelter of some sort, made from stone and maybe wood. My heart sinks and I hear myself say "No...". I don't know why. Then I wake.
