Think about it as the opposite of a Dream Journal. In the dream journal you write down as much as you can remember in the morning. With a waking journal you wrie down as much as you can (or as...

If you can perform a WBTB, it is the single best enhancer that I know of for any other lucid dreaming technique. While I've had LDs that occurred without the use of WBTB, they are very, very few in...

Welcome Santoryu! Personally, I do WBTB every night. It increases recall and likelihood of lucid dreaming quite a bit. At least 20mins of waking time usually does wonders. It might seem like a...

Good thread as I am also working on developing awareness and even if it seems very easy for some I also kind of get lost in which directions to take, so thank you too MasterMind and Santoryu for the...

Awareness to me is not based on the senses, I mean how could it be? When I sit and meditate and are aware of nothingness I don't see, hear, smell or feel anything. However our awareness of the...

Think that you suspected it was a dream, how would you look and observe things? Would it be enough to just be aware of your room, yes of course but I think it would be easier to notice strange things...

There was this massive party going on and there were loads of people at it. Outside the hall, in the corridor, next to the stairs up there is a slide, which twirls all the way down to the entrance to the building. The whole place has this extremely comfortable feel to it. The corridor has red, lush carpet which leads all the way to this epic slide. At some point during the day I leave the building and go outside to a McDonald's with a few friends.
One friend leaves when we've reached McDonald's and I go in with the others. The McDonald's looks like the burger town in one of the spec op missions in modern warfare 2, as it's surrounded by trees and there aren't many other buildings around. Even the weather seems to be the same as in the game, sunny but close to dusk.
I was arguing with my friend, I'm not too sure what about. I realised that I was very hungry and I wanted food. So I went out to get something. I had an urge for a kebab, so I went to a shop that sells them. I got there and asked for one. The dude over the till asked if I wanted to see a magic trick, I said yes. He asked for my phone and I gave it to him. I saw it in his hand and then it was gone. It just disappeared. It then reappeared, it was amazing. Looking at the time I realised I was getting late and so I got my phone back and just bought a baguette and wolfed it down.
