Been having recurring dreams lately, any way to stop them?

I've been having these recurring dreams lately and they are really making me feel like crap during the day. I feel as if I'm being tormented by them, I recently started having recurring dreams about a girl I used to like in High School. And I recently started having dreams about different girls I keep on dating. And as for this one dream I had last night. I was at some weird place. Looking around wondering where I'm at. I suddenly walked up a path going up 2 stories high. I had to climb some Dragon like statues, and by the time I got on top of the Dragon Statues they had horns that you can hold onto. The horns felt pretty real, as well I saw the face it looked like a Chinese Dragon type you usually see in history books.

I kept on climbing and the room kept acting like it was getting smaller each time I tried to reach to the top. Then by the time I got to the top the Dragon started moving, so I've finally went up there and I told my self what's going on? So I suddenly went there and began to see a wooden walk way on top of the Dragon Statues. They appear to be walk able, so I walked on the wood path, it was in a circle formation. I walked on it and saw a girl wearing a white gown. She was beautiful and she wanted to talk with me. So honestly I don't know why I keep having recurring dreams about girls lately.

There is nothing perverted about these dreams, I've been having similar ones to these and they are getting on my nerves, So I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of them and stop them from recurring. They are interfering with my daily life. Thanks.

I must say, recurring dreams about girls is probably the least common of complaints around here.

Are you able to have lucid dreams? Are any of these recurring dreams lucid?

You might try autosuggestion or MILD and see if a mantra could encourage your dream to take a different turn. MILD Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Sometimes the best way to make something get out of your mind is to face it head-on. Turn the problem around and allow it to occur, explore it and see if you have unresolved feelings and/or give yourself permission to no longer be bothered by it. Teaching yourself not to treat this as a problem but an interesting thing to explore might make it easier to get rid of as an unconscious issue.

I'm happy to help further if you don't think this is the right direction. Post any further questions here.

When it's recurring, you have to listen to these dreams, i recommend writing down a journal here or in real.
