Thread: Unsettling Recurring Dream

it always happens in the middle of another, complex dream, the type where you are in a social environment in a familiar place and see lots of people, a party type setting. i never remember any details about what was going on before--its always a different situation, though, but it ends in me leaving a crowded, big room to look for something and someone
then i inevitably go through a door into another, smaller room, with yellowish light coming in through a large crystal window that runs along a whole wall, covered by beige shades, here it is very quiet, im always distracted when i walk in, and then i freeze for a second, when i turn around and realize that the room is full of actual, living, breathing lions. they are big and menacing but seem unaware of my presence. i somehow know that if feel any form of fear, they will detect it and i would be doomed. i walk through the room with feigned naturality, carefully avoiding stepping on any of the lions that are laying on the floor/furniture/each other. sometimes its 7-8 lions, sometimes more than 12, but it always clearly seems like theres way too many for the space theyre in. and then i have this huge fear for my life that i must sincerely suppress and disregard, or else, die.
