I like them, and miss them, a lot, reason why when I stopped having them created a DC for the sole purpose of provoking a nightmare lol |

When I used to have them, I hated nightmares. Now, I've actually started to like them. Then, they stopped. Nightmares are just like watching scary movies, only you're in them, which is even better. They're really thrilling. Anybody else like scary dreams? Or is it just me? |

Scary dreams, sure. I wouldn't mind having them again. |

"Take atheism, for example. Not a religion? Their pseudo-dogmatic will to convert others to their system of beliefs is eerily reminiscent of the very behavior they criticize in the religious."
I still have them. I sometimes enjoy dreams that are like a scary movie, but I don't count them as nightmares. The ones I count as nightmares are the ones that I can't enjoy. If I'm running from a monster, but enjoying the race, it's not a nightmare. If I'm in an otherwise enjoyable dream, but something freaks me out to the point where I just want to wake up, or I'm in a perfectly good normal dream that just smashes everything I liked about it to pieces and it affects me, that's a nightmare. If that happens, only I'm not affected by it (because I'm separated from it because of it being a dream), then no. It's not a nightmare. |

I enjoy the nightmare after it's done, when I'm reading about it in my dream journal. |
|
Nah I don't miss 'em. I have them SO rarely that I'm shocked for days after having one. |
|
I agree with you. Occasionally I shout in my dreams and Mrs Bu wakes me up. I really wish she wouldn't. |

I've never really had a lot of nightmares. I would say my dreams get more frightening the better I become at lucid dreaming. I have plenty of frightening experiences during my WILD attempts. Sleep paralysis and the related hypnagogia can be quite disturbing sometimes. |
|
Ugh. Had another nightmare. I do not miss them while I'm not having them, and I do not like when I do have them. |

JET73L's dream journal
Well, I've had a couple of nightmares recently, and I've gotta say, I actually enjoy them. Sure, they're scary when they're happening, but they don't ever effect me, and they seem to be my more interesting dreams. I have a feeling Sleep Paralysis would be a bit different though. |
