In a word - Balance.

Yin and Yang symbolize the polar opposites that, together, make up a whole - many of which Keeper listed.

Everyone can see them in everyday life (should they chose to recognize it) because the concepts of Yin and Yang are everywhere: Philosophy, Science, Mathematics, Psychology, etc. etc. all have their own examples of Yin and Yang within them.

How about how every single concept that you can think of that comes from it.

How for everything in the world that you can think of there is an opposite being feelings, thoughts, actions ect....

For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction. Nothing new here.
