I would say I'm more Libertarian out of those choices... though it would depend on what issue you brought up. |

Utilitarianism is basically every citizen gives up their personal rights if that will benefit the majority of the community. Granted it's a bit more detailed, but that's it in a nutshell. |

What about the situations in which the corporation is just one or a few people? Often times, the problems with a lot of the restrictions placed on corporations is that they are only really a burden for fledgling corporations and are in place in order to keep new companies out of the market. |

Of the options posted I'd have to say I'm a libertarian. However I am not a Libertarian(as in a follower of the party) because they put too much emphasis on the U.S. Constitution and often have monetarist views that I don't think are very realistic. I think the government ought to be run by a panel of people trained in economics and public policy and it ought to fullfill only those roles which it has to in order to keep the economy running smoothly and efficiently. |

I'm free market oriented utilitarian when it come to the economy (as in I believe markets should be free but that the bottom line should be the greater good, and I realize greater good is an interpretation that can be manipulated) and I'm libertarian when it comes to absolutely everything else. |

I'm more of a libertarian, and I'd like to quote Thomas Jefferson; "That government is best which governs the least" and Thoreaus addition to that; "The best government is the one that doesn't govern at all". |

I would have to say I am a utilitarian hedonist. Libertarian in the sense that, as bluefinger said, with social issues, as long as it does no harm to anyone else. If someone wants to do something, they should feel free to do it. However I would say I am a supporter of a strong government, yet only if they support such ideals (social, economic, and scientific progressivism). |
