Nostradamus and the Victory of Christianity

      Century 1 Quatrain 4 :

"From the whole world will be created a monarchy
which will not last long and be in peace
then the fishing bark will perish
and shall be led into the greatest disaster

The first sentence is clearly symbolizing multicultarism as we know it, so many nationalities together in our countries which will not last, you can see it in our days, nowadays, we still can't get along !
The fishing bark means Christianity and the Christians will be persecuted.

      Century 8 Quatrain 78

A soldier of fortune with twisted tongue
will come to the sanctuary of the gods.
He will open the door to heretics
and raise up the Church militant

somebody will then awaken the militant Church, the Church will fight back, which is a good thing

      Century 5 quatrain 74 :

Of Trojan blood will be born a Germanic heart
Who will rise to very high power:
He will drive out the foreign Arabic people
Returning the Church to its pristine pre-eminence

Can it be more clear than this............He will drive out the foreign Arabic people !!!!!!!

Sounds more like Hitler if you ask me.

Also, you're really good at making no sense

You know what I think about Nostradamus? I think some guy got wasted, like really wasted, and started writing some far out stuff, and then people came along and started reading meaning into it, which is what humans do.

Could you at least come up with a less hateful interpretation?

You forgot the part where the History channel constantly ran that program of theirs on him for like 2 years straight.

Also, yeah, what the hell is this? What is fishing bark and what does it have to do with Christianity?

The ship (bark or barque, barchetta) was an ancient Christian symbol. Its is the Church tossed on the sea of disbelief, worldliness, and persecution but finally reaching safe harbor with its cargo of human souls. Part of the imagery comes from the ark saving Noah's family during the Flood (1 Peter 3:20-21). Jesus protecting the Peter's boat and the apostles on the stormy Sea of Galilee (Mark 4:35-41). It was also a great symbol during times when Christians needed to disguise the cross, since the ships mast forms a cross in many of its depictions.

"In the Apostolic Constitutions (II, xlvii) the bishop surrounded by the assembly of the faithful is compared to the helmsman of a ship; but the idea is as old as Tertullian (De bap., xii; P. L., l, 1214) and it was varied sometimes by comparing the Church to the Ark of Noah. In any case the ship was a recognized Christian symbol and Clement of Alexandria approved it for a signet ring. "Let the dove or the fish", he says, "the vessel flying before the wind, or the marine anchor be our signets" (Pd. III, ii; P. G., VIII, 633). Numerous representations of ships, sometimes serving as the design for a lamp, with the figure of Christ or St. Peter as helmsman are preserved to us. The name which we still retain for the "nave" (French, nef) of a church bears testimony to the persistence of the same idea." (Herbert Thurston, "Symbolism," Catholic Encyclopedia, 1909). The ship is also sometimes used as an emblem of St. Jude.

In an illustration for Psalm 69 from the Belleville Breviary, chosen to accompany the sacrament of Confirmation, St. Peter lies in a boat on a storm-tossed sea while God blesses him from the heavens, symbolizing the soul's refuge in time of trial in the ship of the Church which is blessed by God. The final traditional symbolic meaning of the ship is a means of conveyance between this world and the next. In Christian tradition, in which earthly life was seen as a pilgrimage, the ship of the church transports the faithful through the seas of the world to the heavenly home. (Ideas from Chaucer and the Image of Narrative, by V. A. Kolve.)

St. Ursula was often portrayed as helping sinners into her boat to save them from drowning in the seas of the world

You know who else can tell the future? Ron Paul. You can find time stamped video evidence of him predicting a ton of future events related to the economy, long before they came true. He has an amazing record if seeing the future and predicting things no one else in politics or the mainstream media saw coming.

His predictions are not made through magic so we ignore him though.

Go ahead and ignore the prophets of the past, yet, things recorded in the scriptures will come true, just you wait and see !!

Erick, Show them one of the prophesies that came true. None of the spiritual or open-to-interpretation ones. just a plain one.

I think I have had done my share of the futuristic prophecies including mine own and my own interpretations of it. Therefore I am gonna ask you to go to a good bookshop and buy a good Nostradamus book with the original French verses and their translation and them as being prophecized which already came true, I am not a good knower anymore of these verses since I don't work with them anymore, it was just a few key verses for me to share..........about the future, not the past exept for the 9-11 thing.

I am about the future concerning the muzzies, therefore my already existing anger

I'm surprised that your account is still active and this thread hasn't been locked too.

Anyway your whats wrong with everything in this world, your just a bigot and you don't even realise that your religion, your a christian right, is not really so much different then the "muzzies." You make me sick and I don't think even your god would be happy the way your wanting and seems like planning on treating your fellow mankind.

I don't usually advocate suicide, but when I do, I advocate that you should kill yourself.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

after you........but as the Caliphate of your friends will be soon in power in the world, there will be plenty of room for people like you, I can't stop picturing you walking around in a suicide vest somewhere in your own country against your own people, blowing yourself up for allah's cause.......

Well I've called you both a bigot and a racist, and as for me joining Islam I will never, I will never join any religion just because I see them as a mind control technique. But I was pointing out how Islam and Christianity are similar and coincide, for example both of them have the Angel Gabrielle as Gods Messenger. I study religions to see the similarity and the techniques they use, to me they are really all the same and I have no problem with someone who follows religion because either of us can be right about the world and way of things. But I do have problems with Bigot Racist, War Preaching, Ignorant, Delusional people like you.

I think it's wonderful from you that you study the scriptures, I would recommend the Bhagavat Gita as it is, the Holy Book of the Hare Krishna's to read, the philosophy will open your mind. But where did you see me war preaching, where did you notice me being ignorant and a racist, where did you see me delusional ? You're right about the bigot part, that's something I found out lately here on this forum.

      I just don't like Islam, that's all !!!!
