I don't pray, I meditate. But, then, I'm Agnostic.

I pray when I need help, or are thankful, or bored, or wondering about something. Unlike the rest of my family I never close my eyes. I HATE not being able to see!

I never really pray out loud, I "think" a prayer.

I am making a habit to pray every night. Especially to pray for people.

I don't pray, I meditate. I never close my eyes when other people pray (like at work when we have lunches, some people make everyone pray. I refuse, it's like me making everyone else cast a circle and celebrate the Goddess) I just bow my head out of respect for them.

When I was little I used to pray, I'd close my eyes and talk with God, like a normal conversation. I'd talk just like I talk to anyone else, except to someone who wasn't listening most of the time.

prayer is supposed to come from the heart, honest and earnest words. only thing is I have no idea how to verbalize that - so in the end I stopped praying. If I had a better way. .

I don't actually pray when I wake up or go to sleep - it's too routine, and never had any meaning to me.

It's more like - reflect within myself sometimes, and this might involve some kind of thank you, love, and appreciation toward God, and this happens randomly.

For me, prayer and meditation can be synonymous.

I use both as a means of relaxation or contemplation. I find it helpful to direct my thoughts towards an entity, even if it does not respond.

Everyone needs someone to talk to, even if it is just themselves.

Everyone need to be heard. Wouldn't it be nice if there was always someone to listen?

Sometimes, we don't need an answer. Being heard is enough.
