Prophets and Divine Messages?

Years and years ago in the bible, there were certain people who claimed to receice messages in their dreams from God. The "fortune tellers" today seem so ridiculously phony...anyway, is there anyone who thinks that they've ever received actual "messages" from God or some other spiritual being in their dreams?

if people can receive messages from above, the message they are capable of receiving is directly related to where they are in spiritual evolution there are a lot of channelers out there. forget the channeling. look at them as a person. do you trust them? do you get bad or good vibes from them? if people can receive messages from above, its directly related to their own spiritual attainment. imagine if this person didn't claim to be receiving messages, as a person could you still call them spiritual? could you still trust them? as for the question, I would answer maybe! the dream had me waking up questioning what the hell just happened. the message itself was nothing special. more of a personal lesson than a message. I would go in detail, but of all places, not in this forum I had the dream twice in the same month. And I didn't understand what was happening so I bothered a spiritual forum. And they felt I had an encounter with the kundalini herself. I found that surprising. But then I didn't know much about the sleeping serpent, and when I did some more research, it fit the bill

I spent like 2 minutes looking at the title of this thread and trying to figure out what was wrong with it.

I think that they believed that they were spoken to by god. I believe that it was just their misunderstanding of dreams. Religion served an important purpose 1000 years ago, it helped people "understand" the world before the age of science. Do you want me to fix the title for you?
