      90 day simultaneous DILD/WILD Project

I decided to create this topic and show my results. In this project I will practice a WILD technique and a DILD technique simultaneously. While attempting everyday (hopefully), I will track my progress over 90 days. As a beginner, my goal of this project is to
      a) have lucid dreams 4-7 days a week (probably mostly DILDs) and
      b) Receive the benefits of successfully WILDing and be able to have at least one every other day

I believe trying both simultaneously will speed up the process of learning either technique and will make the process feel less frustrating. If you want to join, you are free to do so.

(I only count days where I attempted to WILD, otherwise I call it half a day.)

      Hope I fulfill my wishes!

I will give it a shot. But I will only attempt to WILD monday, wednesday, and friday nights because I don't have school tuesdays and thursdays. I don't know about friday nights because I go out sometimes. But I actually want to try this because in the past I will do it for like a week and then lose track and stop. Oh and also, I will probably throw in a vild attempt at least twice a week because I have been succesful with that technique in the past.

      Day one: actually succeeded
Lol I'm so lucky to LD in the first day of this project. I recalled 2 dreams, one of them lucid. Was a DILD but my failed attempt to WILD just a moment ago must have made me more aware then normal. Anyways this is what I dreamed of:
It started in a closet I never seen before. I took out a keychain puzzle cube from one of the drawers. Someone also in the closet asked me a question, I forgot what he asked. When walking out the closet, I noticed that I saw this puzzle cube in previous dream, the exact same one. From this I became lucid and stared at the ground to stabilize the dream. But I probably stared too long and woke up.

      Day two: no LD
But I nearly got a WILD, even felt the transition between reality and dream. But I think it was too late and the room was too bright so reality eventually sucked me back. Also, how are your results NrElAx?

Well I was going to attempt to wild last night but I think I just fell right back to sleep. Although I did have a very realistic false awkening, but didn't become lucid.

I'll give this a shot. I suck at WILDing. I get quite a few false awakenings though. I've had 1 LD this week (last night).

      I'll start tonight

I have been attempting to WILD every night for the past couple of weeks. Even when the WILD isn't successful, it still seems to make me have more lucid dreams, even if it's just a short lucid moment or partially lucid dream.
      It's all in your head.

I think somehow I have unconsciously gotten better at LDing independent of this project, because I succeeded again. This is looking good for my goals, but not looking good to the usefulness of my posts in this thread. Or maybe it's just the placebo.
      Day 3: successful WILD
I woke up about 4-5 hours after falling asleep, and attempted WILD. After a long time and when I nearly fell asleep, I felt a split in senses. The breathing RC felt strange, like I was both breathing and not breathing at the same time. It cleared after rubbing my hands. It was a false awakening, looked just like my room. Woke up after exploring the area for a while.
Welcome NrElAx and Raspberry, hope that you will also be lucid twice in the first three days.

Day four: no WILD, just a short, insignificant DILD where I did a reality check and woke up instantly afterwards.

I haven't been able to attempt the last few nights cuz I got the damn flue. God, something always happens when I try these 90 day things and end up not finishing hahah.

You should still post DILD results though, they shouldn't be affected by the flu
Day six: no LD, but recalled one dream. Barely any action in it, and nearly no dream signs that I am aware then and now

Yea I know, I just haven't been able to keep LDing on my mind much hahah. Plus I kept waking up with the damn chills one night. I'll attempt to WILD tonight because I'm feeling better. I better get to bed now. I don't want to stay up to late.

Day 6: Again no lucidity, must've been the time I go to sleep. I'm having school soon so perhaps i cant attempt often unless I sleep earlier. Im wondering if the amount of sleep I have before WBTB more important or is a dark, quiet environment more important if I can't fulfill both.

Day seven: slept though WILD, for some reason always no dreams recalled.
I kinda freaked out when I saw a box of apples next to my bed labeled "Яблоκо"

Day 8: slight improvement: nearly recalled 2 dreams (forgot one of them when lying in bed for a few minutes).
Maybe this is because of my thirst in the middle of the night. Started school, so I must post quite late.

Day nine: nothing again, slept through the attempt, I think I'm WBTBing too early, going to try for a later time.

Day ten (and a half): I thought I recalled 2 dreams, that or I imagined that it happened. School=too little sleep=Short REM periods=sleeping deeply most of the time=slept through alarm -.- which is why today only counted as half.

Why did everyone abandon this thread anyway?

Because school reduces my time asleep, I'm counting every day from now on (no more halves) and will try FILD on weekdays and regular WILD on weekends.

Day eleven: Recalled 1 dream, felt the SP in the attempt, but no LD

Day twelve as usual, dreams not so vivid either.
