I think you missed the original meaning of his post. That a child or someone who otherwise wouldn't be influenced to smoke Weed could stumble across this. Then you go off on the whole "Weed is safe" spill. I really don't care what you say, I know I wouldn't want my little brother "theoretically" stumbling across this, weather you think its safe or not.

I'm not preaching, I am an ex pot/drug user. My major is currently Psychology and I have been the the Drug and Alcohal course- I am well versed in this realm.

Also, after smoking marijuana you do not fall directly into a deep stage of sleep (Stage 4 or 5). It is impossible. Your brain MUST work its way through each stage consecutively. If your brain notices that you are ever falling asleep to quickly, you will be jerked awake. However marijuana may have been shown to help you work through these stages quicker, and wallow in the deeper ones for a bit longer.

It's obvious that this topic wont be closed, so let me help you out. When you say "joints" and list how many someone has smoked, your flawing your own experiment. Not everyone smokes a Joint. Not every joint contains the same amount of weed. Typically it is .5.-.7 grams. Some are .2-.4 and others can be packed to about 1.0 grams. Also, everyones tolerance is totally different. Someone could smoke a 1.5gram blunt and be lost, and the person next to them could smoke it and just have a moderate head change. I think you see where this is going.....

(Also, your signature....It's quite ignorant and obnoxious- Way to misrepresent what most true believers of Ganja believe. You are in fact speaking out and judging the "others" that speak out and judge against you. Your riding the same boat....)

(Do you smoke occasionally? Or is it 98% of the time like your signature says? Not a real question, I couldn't care less)

      Good luck!

My advice- Stick with regular sleep patterns, maybe miss alot of sleep for a day or two to miss some REM periods, which your mind will then make up for during the following nights of sleep.

(By the way, I have been clincally diagnosed with OCD and GAD, with severe depression at one point. Marijuana was my crutch for a while. It wasn't a healthy crutch, for me, but thats my opinion- And everyone is entitled to their own. I've seen the road from both sides. Don't take this post as a argue about pot, look at the deeper meaning. We could all argue the safeness/legallity/harm/effects of pot all day long. Lets ignore this and get on with the experiment.)

I'm out of bud right now, but I'll give this a try tommarow. Has anyone had any successful results?
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

Well I tried this experiment last night, but it didn't go very well. I smoked a bowl at around 9:30 and another at 10:30, then I went sleep at 11. I woke up at 4:00 but I was feeling really hazey, still slightly high. I did some yoga and meditation, but I was still feeling fuzzy. I went back to sleep and got woken up by some noise around 6:30, then slept until 9. I remembered little parts of 3 dreams (non lucids), but they were kind of fuzzy.

I'm going to try this again, but smoke less and smoke around 2-3 hours before I go to sleep.

I smoke weed more than 3 times a day, my dreams are not affected. I still have quite vivid ones. Lucid, nonlucid.

I reckon that smoking on a too frequent basis does make one overall buzzed and dull-ish. I only smoke about weekly. Sometimes less. That way smoking Marijuana doesn't really Supress REM-sleep at all. It is more the Chronic Cannabis smoker that suffers from a seriously surpressed REM-sleep.
Overall buzzed? not sure what you mean by that, but I'm certainly not dullish. I'm a "chronic" smoker and I have vivid dreams, sounds like some sort of weird rumor.

It's time we start teaching our children the truth about Marijuana so when they smoke it they don't get the idea that since they've been lied to about the dangers and addiction potential for so many years they won't think that heroin is also a safe drug.

Marijuana is far less dangerous and anyone using it as a "lazy" mans crutch is already a lazy person. Marijuana only amplifies who you are, I work 40 hours a week and take 5 classes in college, and I smoke everyday and people making stupid jokes about potheads are ignorant and probably take to the bottle every night. Enjoy drinking your liver to death with wasteful beer or hard liquor, i'll stick with a nice glass of wine and fat blunt.

Yeah I know a couple of those Chronic Cannabis Smokers. They are basically in a constant buzz and they do not even get really high anymore. They smoke Joints as if they were smoking Cigarettes and whenever one of them passes me a Joint I nearly tumble and drop down cuz they put rediculous amounts of weed in it. It's sad cuz they smoke dayly, don't get high and are in a constant slowness-buzz. This is the perfect way to waste the potentially great effects Cannabis CAn have if you were to smoke it Mindfully like I do. funny how they all dropped out and never planned on studying any further. Now they're stuck in hard labour-jobs for the rest of their lives. But this has also got to do with these peoples Characters..
What an entirely ignorant thing to say, just because one smokes everyday multiple times a day does not mean they are not high. It's called controlling the high so we don't get to the point of stupid like a lot of occasional smokers. Constant slowness buzz? You smoking some shitty bud my friend, some midis? Get some Hydro, or exotic buds and you won't be feeling slow unless you can't handle the high... What with the holier-than-thou attitude towards your marijuana smoking compared to others? I'm also personally insulted by the hard labour-jobs people are needed to do these jobs, and you sound like a complete jerkoff especially if anyone has any labor workers in their family.. I'm related to a Masonary worker he gets paid 60+ dollars an hour to do HARD labor work. Not everyone is going to spend years in college and work behind a desk for the rest of their lives. You apparently need to smoke some more weed and contemplate your attitude towards life and realize you are not the only way.

      2. You still don't get it.

The original person that complained said "What if a child or someone else stumbled across this" Your reply was all about how Marijuana was safe. Who cares if its safe!?!? I wouldn't want any child reading about it.

It was a censorship thing. No matter what your views are, I wouldn't want any child to read about Marijuana. Children are very influenced. Even beyond that, its not just influencing them to do it. Porno is potentially harmless, doesn't "kill" anyone, but would It be cool for someone to post a bunch of porno pics? Or should I just be like, yea! Screw it if theres porno on TV let him watch it- Its his 10 year old decision! Marijuana is just not something for children to read about. However there doesn't seem to be alot of children here, so its "safe" I guess you could say. Anyone else should be able to make their own decision, yes. End of story here.
Insert alcohol into every spot were weed or marijuana is mentioned and no censors or anyone would be saying a word.

I just read a little snippet of the debate above, but enough to know the gist. The internet is not your child's mentor/teacher/parent. Get over it.

All that aside, I wanted to add in my two cents on this topic because I smoked yesterday. Usually, I don't have lucid dreams when I smoke, but usually I smoke right before I go to bed. This time I smoked in the late afternoon, came down, then went to bed ridiculously tired (I didn't get much sleep the night before). I had a really long and really controllable lucid.

I'm not sure if me smoking has anything to do with it, but I haven't had a lucid in about a week and I haven't smoked in about a month, so there might be a correlation.

Just trying to do my part for MARIJUANA. Oops. I hope no kids see this! O_O

Drugs like marijuana tend to reduce your recall, so taking could in theory give you a lucid dream but you won't remember it so there is no point.

I smoke pot everyday and recall dreams on an almost every other day basis.

      So you are wrong.

People are making too many assumptions about Marijuana...
