Russian Drill Nears 14 Million Year Old Antarctic Lake

Russian Drill Nears 14-Million-Year-Old Antarctic Lake | Wired Science | Wired.com

This is pretty awesome. In another article, I read that the lake is so far under ice that the only reason it's hot enough to remain as a liquid is because it's heated by the Earth's core, which is causing some scientists to wonder about how life on other planets - which might be outside of their star's 'habitable zone' - might have found other ways of gathering the energy needed to evolve. I'm really interested to see what kind of life (if any) they're able to find down there.

Oh, they will find life but I wonder how complex? I hope they find fish, that would be awesome.
      I thought of Europa too
