      They say that school is bad in the US. At least we don't pass people with a 50%. You should have no problem scoring over a 40% on the test, if you paid any attention at all in class.

      At my school (in the US), you need a 66% to pass.

      Well, Alric, I'd say not to believe everything you hear. Some schools are bad, but not all of them. In the US, high school students cannot pass with a GPA under 60%. In college, the grades are aimed at being above a C (70%), so D's and below are rarely ever administered due to the students' effort (and in some cases, because teachers give out good grades too easily, unfortunately).
