When the button was "thanks", I remember only the mods and important popular people had a high amount of them xD once it changed to like, obv people gave out more :O

My ratio of likes given over likes received is rising rapidly and it kind of makes me worry that people will think that I like too frivolously.

It's not true, I just like a lot of things.

Or it could just be that people don't like me as much as I like them...

This is exactly what happens. I'm so excited to check the forum after a few hours away, after making a few posts. I can't wait to see if I've gotten any likes or replies, then there is nothing

. Or if I get a PM or a friend request, that's just insane. It's only happened about 10 times ever. Honestly getting likes makes me ecstatic with excitement. It's exciting to click the button and see who liked the post, then I go back to the post and read it again to imagine them reading it and liking it. God I'm pathetic.

But I guess the same thing happens with email and other things like that too.

I don't really know what's up Dianeva, but it seems like people don't respond to your posts much. I sometimes have to refrain from it myself because it seems like a lot of times I'm the only person who responds after you, and I don't want to seem stalkerish.

That started on the Twisting Life Stories thread, I kept getting there right after you had posted, and I answered a couple of times, then I thought Ok no, I don't want to always be the one going after her - let somebody else do it. But nobody did!!

.. And the thread died.

It's exciting to click the button and see who liked the post, then I go back to the post and read it again to imagine them reading it and liking it. God I'm pathetic.

In that case I think we all must be pathetic. I do it too. Every time. But it's addictive... you can't help it! Things like that are what makes this kind of site so much fun.
