Something about those laughs seems to say, "One world police state." It's a sign of the end times. I think Howard Dean was trying to say the same thing a decade ago.

Are you fucking serious? A old lady's awkward laugh is a sign of the end times? Not, you know, a class of corrupt elites living in impunity, controlling legislation to protect them from the law and controlling the media to defend them while only ever covering poverty to talk about how the impoverished are gaming the system? Not the fact that lively debate is limited to a spectrum between strong fascism and medium fascism and all dissent or opinion outside this spectrum is marginalized as socialism, which has been hijacked to mean what fascism actually means? (Basically meaning all non-fascists are labeled fascists) But some weird laugh, that's the fucking seventh seal.

I'm not sure if it was supposed to or not, but this Are you fucking serious? The in between bit is obviously less funny and more depressing. Sometimes its not the sound of the laugh itself, or even the strange facial expressions associated with it that make a laugh awkward and/or potentially evil. Sometimes it is the context...the moment in which one feels compelled to laugh that makes the situation questionable. Example:

(but she is creepy lol) I'm thinking maybe we should have three Congresses-- one for domestic programs, one for foreign policy, and one for domestic social issues. I agree with Pelosi's stances on gay marriage and other social issues and appreciate her standing up for what's right in that area, but she is a disaster on economics.
