yep, that's right. a lot of people don't realize that, but that's exactly the case.

the more you brag about it, the longer you will be forced to keep it....

But then again.... Why would that be a bad thing????

Its nice to have colorfull characters in our little community
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

It's gone past colorful, now it is starting to get a little bit creepy.

Nothing annoys me more than saying "u" instead of you. A kid in my class wrote "u" in a test *bows and shakes head* 1337 is consuming the weak

Yes, it was. And I think it worked quite well.
(Oh no! A sentence starting with 'and'! It's a world disaster!)

Well, let's not nitpick at people's grammar. As long as it's up to a decent standard (ie: "I believe that the world will explode", not "i believe world explode soon"), great. You can't make everybody have perfect grammar- I don't have perfect grammar, for one- but you can make people have decent grammar.

If you had been paying attention, you would have noticed I've been keeping the nit-picking within the confines of this thread, which is clearly acceptable seeing as THAT'S THE THREAD'S BLOODY TITLE! thus, if one doesn't want his or her grammar open to criticism from me, then he or she best not post in this thread.

p.s. starting a sentence with BUT or AND is acceptable when trying to make that sentence stand out; when used frequently, it becomes too much of a distraction.

here's some more fun with English (WOOO!!)

      common spelling errors:

      SEPARATE (not seperate)
      DESPERATE (not desparate)
      TOMORROW (not tommorow or tommorrow)
      RECEIVE (not recieve)
      IRRESISTIBLE (not irresistable)
      CONGRATULATIONS (not congradulations)
FRUSTRATE (not frusterate; I used to make this mistake)
also, REOCCURRING is not a word (even though i use it on the site somewhere); the word you're looking for is recurring
Note also that recur (to happen again) has one "c"; whereas occur (to happen once) has two "c's."

and remember, its "Canadia" or "Canadialand" not "Canada"

...of course you can always call it "That Crappy Frozen Place" or "The Land of the Idiots"
