      i used to be a pie lover...rhubarb pie, apple pie, tri-berry pie...then i learned how to make piffins...its a muffin that can perfect imitate the wonderful taste of a pie, but keep all the other things you love about muffins!...also, i think we can adequately call truthbearer a muffin-lover poser, i think thats the right word...tho im with ya all the way with those darn muffin stumps...my favorite snack food of all time, however, would have to be the flesh of the living...i made a flesh muffin before, but the skin and muscle bits were mostly charred and it didnt taste so good

      I AM NOT A MUFFIN-LOVER POSER!!! The thing is I like them both a lot. There are many pies I love, mostly lemmon and apple, and the same with muffins, I like apple and blueberry. But I can eat more muffins than pies since the type of pies I eat have too much sugar and leave you with a gooey taste when you eat too many, while muffins, if you have a nice glass of milk, I can eat many without getting stuffed with that taste. Thus the more the better and muffins are the winners!

      Sorry, but muffin has to come first. For one thing, you can have practically any kind of muffin you want to make: chocolate, coffee cake, poppy seed, cranberry, bran (*unenthusiastic* but others like 'em), and you can do almost whatever else you want. I'd like to see someone make a poppy seed pie! That's an interesting thought. Next point: MINI MUFFINS! I've seen those little pies at Albertsons, but have you ever seen a pie as small as a mini muffin? No! They're just so small that they're cool! Then, we go into fillings: generally if you don't eat all of a pie, the filling will ooze out from under the crust and you have to fish for it later. If you don't finish all of a muffin, put it in a ziplock bag or in some plastic wrap and you have a meal for later!

      Just my opinion.
