Actually, if one is concerned regarding 'optimum' sizing, then the true experts would be in those Adult Sexual Paraphernalia stores, who sell assorted phallic-like dildoes of various sizes and permutations of shape. It is probably not a case wheree "one size fits all" but they could probably give us some idea of what the general preference would be.

But certain distinctions need to be applied at the get-go. There are two distinct families of vibrator -- those for vaginal insertion and those for anal insertion, and the one is noticably larger than the other.

Anyway, for guys who are evaluating their own equipment, they should keep in mind that if they are not entirely fit for one application, they might well be just right for the other.

Also, and once one has visited the Sex Paraphernalia Store, then there is no longer any excuse for feeling sexually inadequate, and if one wants to truly leave one's woman feeling satisfied, then there is no shortage of devices which can be brought to bare on the problem. And bring extra batteries.

Thats an overwhelming yes in the polls. And of course size matters. And of course its what you do with it. Its both. But you can do a lot more with a bigger one. It's like saying you dont have to be tall to be good at basketball. Of course you dont have to be but it really does help. The average height in the NBA is 6"7

Yah, in case you didn't actually READ the poll, the poll was whether guys have measured themselves, NOT whether size matters, or is of primary importance, etc. So, really, all the result tells us is that a lot of guys are insecure about their size.

But of course, we knew that already...

Actually, it had not occurred to me, until somebody mentioned that he was often made uncomfortable with some of the varied appearances that female genitalia can take (not always being like lovely butterflies), but so much that has to do with sexual performance is subjective, emotional, and, well, so involuntary, that I began to wonder whether it is wise to go into so much detail on a subject where we can only suppose that performance anxieties may be suggested.

Really, now REALLY! People really do not pair off with their sex partners because of size or genital coloring, though surprises may well be appreciated. Even when sex is only going to be momentary, fleeting and recreational, then in most cases, even then, it is sought out in terms of personality and congeniality. Well, yes, there is always something to be said about minimal good looks -- but once you can get through that Door of not being Repulsive, then EFFECTIVELY all other things are equal.

and talking about things can probably only precipitate performance anxiety issues. and such is a gratuitious problem that nobody should need to ask for. Perhaps the Victorians were showing their good sense by not talking about such things.

Sex should be spoken of in a constant euphemism. Even if it was not that good, then encouragement could only make it better, and criticism likely to make it worse.

And do not take it likely. One can "poison the well". There are things that can be said that can never ever be taken back. More divorces are enacted for that then for any other single thing -- that one of the parties said something that forever after poisoned the connubial bed. And probably much of it had to do with comments concerning the other party's genitalia.

With that in mind, it is often thought that a few drinks before sex is good for loosening things up, and this is almost universally true, but only providing you can still be careful about what you say.
