Keeper, why isn't it working? Shouldn't take anything more than highlighting it, clicking the little arrow beside the A with a black bar underneath, and selecting your colour. |

I had to put the 1 in there because it said "Your post has two few characters. Please add 1 more." |

They call us crackers because we used to crack the whip. I always thought it was because most crackers are white. |

Still can't WILD........
I may be crazy, but personally, I liked Leo. He always made me laugh with his "Holier-than-thou" attitude, and his completely random pages upon pages of religious crap, and his more serious-than-a-heartattack posts, even when they shouldn't have been.... I joined just a few weeks before he got banned. Leo had a very strange sense of humour, but I found it rather amusing. A really good example of this, is this quote that I found in the DV Quotes thread.... It's the second post on the following thread, by ataraxis. |

EDIT: Well, we have moved on. What other extralaptous events have occured in the forum's history? Were there ever strange forum fads like GLAYYYSHUR? |

There was no Religion/Spirituality forum here until November of 2005. It was about a year ago when Extended Discussion became a popular forum. Before Relgion/Spirituality and the popularity of Extended Discussion, this site was much less personable, I think. It was a place where the conversations were far out, and that seemed to be how it was for everybody else, and people didn't seem to know each other as well as they do now. The place was much more fantasy like, and everybody got along, which is what strangers usually do. But once the religious and political conversations got going, people started showing their true personalities a lot more, and as a result, started forming stronger connections. This site was just a fantasy realm for me for about a year and a half, but now it's more like sitting in a living room and talking to people I feel like I know, but still not exactly like it. It think a lot of ice was broken when that preacher started posting lots and lots of religious threads in the Philosophy forum. That resulted in such chaos that a separate forum for Religion/Spirituality had to be created. I think the mass arguing that started going on there broke the ice for people to start going to Extended Discussion to argue about politics. The left field nature of this place faded because of all of that. Ironically, one of the major things that attracted me to this site was that I saw it as a place to have far out conversations and not get into arguments. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
I always felt like there was this big chunk of DV history which the old members aluded to in little whispered asides and mumbled under their breath, but which I never could quite understand. |
