Planning a vacation - where should I go?

We were thinking Caribbean, Hawaii...you know, one of those kinds of trips. Anybody have specific suggestions? Resorts you've been to that were outstanding, etc? Pictures to share possibly? Thanks.

Go to Greece. Especially the islands of Santorini and Mykonos. I would love to share pictures, but unfortunately my camera bottom of the Mediterranean ocean.

Greece is pretty. Mind you, if it's hot and tropical you're after, try Lancashire, England. There's...um...sunshine...sometimes. Avoid Jdea at all costs. Carou also.

Negril, Jamaica. Extremely beautiful, very romantic. All of the all-inclusive resorts are kick ass. Also, Playa Del Carmen (about an hour south of Cancun), quiet pristine beaches, a cute little town, nice resorts there as well.

I have always been a "northern" type vacationer Kichu -Washington, Maine , Alaska, etc. But I tell you what, My wife and I went on a cruise for our friend wedding last year and I never thought I would be a big fan of tourist type tropical vacations. Man was I wrong! Grand cayman island, Belize, Cozemel and Costamya. ~Island hopping. They have it down. It was sooo care free and fun. Snorcaling, beaches, just a ton of really cool ethnic stuff.

My boyfriend and I have never been anywhere together and I think we're going to get all the Hawaii/Caribbean type trips out of the way first, then move on to other stuff. Any other suggestions? Oh my God it is no contest (unless you already live there) instead of vacationing take a tour around Europe and see all the beautiful artwork, Such as David, the sistine chapel, and all the other beautiful things! I sincerely wich I could have such an oppurtunity. Now you've made me depressed cause I can't do that! You suck! You suck! Lol.

Ok let's see. I've already mentioned Negril and Playa Del Carmen. Also Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic...my parents went there and still say that it was the best vacation/all-inclusive experience ever and they've stayed in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen before as well. I've done research into many places in the Caribbean planning trips for me and friends. You should also check out Belize, Barbados, The Virgin Islands. But I really think you guys should go to Negril. You will LOVE it. I can even suggest some awesome places to stay. The only semi-annoying part is that Negril is a 2 hour bus ride from the airport, however it's alot of fun!! The roads are sorta scary, you pass through Montego Bay, pass through some dirty little ramshackle towns, drive along the beautiful caribbean for awhile and enjoy the scenery. Do NOT go to any cities that are cruise ports.

Australia, mate! I would love to go there just to see the Australian safaries! It has beautiful dry weather and it is so far away from North America, you can just leave all of your troubles behind. LOL. Just make sure you go there in our winter, because that is when Australia has their summer!

For a flight that long though, I'd need to stay there for a month to make it worth it... and so I could do lots.
