Shakespeare wasn't that great. If he was alive now he would be a soap writer. Most of his plays are sexist and involve loads of sex talk. Not very "classy" really

He played to the common masses. Sex sells.

He doesn't work so well nowadays, but in his day he was a genius, and there are elements that still stay strong in modern analysis.

How repulsive. But you know, it makes you wonder about the state of things. Obviously, under normal circumstances these things wouldn't happen. I'm thinking the families of these daughters are impoverished, or have a costly addiction. Could it be the growing rift between the higher and lower class to blame for this sick quick buck?
