I Hate Bats!!!

Last night, at 11:00 PM, I heard a scratching sound in my wall. I knew what it was. It was that goddamn bat that lives in our wall. I thought I got rid of it when that exterminator guy came, but noooo... they didn't kill it. That son of a bitch kept me up until 12:30 AM until it finally shut up.

Does anyone else hate bats/have animals in your home (that you don't want)?

I LOVE bats... we have bathouses and stuff. They keep the mosquitos away, not to mention they are beautiful to watch at night as they swoop around. Not to mention they are fabulous creatures, anyways. I've always thought it would own to be a bat. The only mammals that can fly... fucken echolocation. They own.

Fear of bats is something I can't relate to at all. I mean, I'd be afraid of them biting me and giving me a disease, sure, but bats by themselves are awesome. Three of them flew into my friend's room once, and he hid under his blanket for the night. Lucky bastard.. I wish bats would fly into MY room.

We had some little bats fall asleep in the folds of our deck umbrella once, and one of them stayed asleep as we watched. They're actually really cute little animals, not to mention the awesome mosquito-eating power. I've heard that one brown bat can eat up to 3,000 mosquitos - IN ONE NIGHT! Awesomeness.

I have mice in the basement at times, but I'm not afraid of them. It literally stunk when one got caught in the washing machine drain, though.

Spiders come in, too. I have at least two in my room right now, the normal brown kind (and one who made his abode outside my window. He's been absent all winter, leaving but a few neat brown bundles and two moth corpses). They're very cute, but have nothing to eat at the moment, so I let them freeze outisde as nature intended.

5 years ago on a school trip to France we once had a bat in our bedroom.

I thought somebody was eating crisps because I kept hearing a rustling noise (this was when the lights had been turned out). It annoyed me so much that I got out of bed to turn the lights out to investigate. Realising the none of the four of us in there were eating I had a look in the plastic bag-lined bin. The bat was in there. So I got a teacher (being 11 and incapable of making a decision on my own) and they set it free. We were the talk of the dining-room in the morning, everyone wanted to know about our brief encounter with the bat.

It pooed on all our beds.

I've seen an armada of bats wipe a chalet clean of anything that dares go after human blood in 15 minutes.

I'd get a colony at my house if I knew how.

sometimes my cat gets one of the unwanted animals in the house.

for about a month ago when i was going to my moms house to give the cats food and give water to the flowers i planted some lemon trees. i think it was about 8 lemon trees i planted. when i was finished and watered them my cat jumps up and got them all down om my floor, soil everywere just when i as about to leave. i got the jacked on and 4 layers of shirts.
then when i'm going to clean it up the vaccumcleaner's bag is full and i couldn't find the other ones.
my cat was the number 1 unwanted animal in the house then.

You people that get bats in your house and have animals - be very careful. Make sure your pets are up to date on rabies vaccines because if they have ANY contact with the bat, that is a public health issue since it can be transmitted to humans and the fatality rate is almost 100%. If your pets are up to date on the rabies vaccine and they come into contact with wildlife in the house (or outdoors for that matter), you won't have to worry.

Haha. I had a dream last night that I owned a small, really soft and fluffy, white baby bat. Because I had purchased it from the local pet store, it was missing its wings. I also later realized that it was just an origami bat. Bastards.
