Yup, only true zombie proof armor would be a full suit of knights armor and a shield. Primitive protection wise, but I'll be damned if they'll be able to tear off any securely tied on steel while your bull-charging them with a spiked wall shield.

yea thats pretty good protection, but what happens when you gotta shit?

the man has a point. I dont want to have to spend 30 min undoing those pants just so i could drop the kids off at the pool. And a full suit of armor would get pretty heavy i think. When you are up against runners, you wouldnt stand a chance going that slow.

Maybe a where a suit of armor with a steel flap where your butt is so you can take care of buisness, and go buy an ATV. Now we're talking unstopable armor.

I disagree, a chain mail shark-suit would make pretty good zombie armor wouldn't it?

screw zombie suits all you need is a ATV with enough gas. And a couple of those guns from O's link. All set!

I found some problems with your plans. 1. Everyone is going to have the same idea on robbing storers, = riot, people are already dead due to greediness and panic 2. General panic, natural human behaviour is to hesitate before killing. 3. Each other, people will fight over food, etc. 4. spur of the moment decisions which get you killed, e.g "quick hide in the bathroom" = your dead.

1. Not much you can do to fix this one. Like you said, EVERYONE is going to be doing it. If you are the only good boy who doesnt do it then you have no supplys and will probably get trampled by the crowd anyway.

2. you are right, it is humans nature to hesitate before they kill. But we arent killing humans here. People dont hesitate if its some random animal trying to kill em.

3. Stick with only a few close people. Like ame's plan. Stick with people you know you get along with. If you have 8 people working together, a few stragglers arent going to try and steal you food.

4. Survival of the fittest. Those who cant fight, run. Those who can't run, are zombie chow. Simple as that.

All that is why being prepared beforehand is so essential. While Jack and Jill are ripping off the 7-11, my squad and I are setting up our fortress. The zombies aren't going to want regular food, so when the Hills get their brains sucked out, I'll just pick up what the left behind.

yea alot of zombie movies are based off a disease that infects everyone. its possible that way but the chances are slim,yet we do have rabies (makes you crazy and bite people) maybe if someone enhanced rabies it could be a serious thread.

The rage virus in 28 Days Later is basically just super-rabies.

I don't think the word "zombie" is used one single time in 28 Days Later. They are the infected. As mentioned earlier, they do not want to eat to survive, they just want to bite and be aggresive. Extremely aggresive.

gotcha, but still something like 28 days later is the type of scenario that were looking for here. chaos, infected people going crazy and biting other people-infecting them, mass spread.

this all would be something to worry about, everyone would be trying to leave the city or town, the law would have very little effect anymore.

I can see how zombies are funny, if you can just start over if you die, but you can't. Probably close to everybody you know will die or suffer the zombie fate. Everything you have, everything you've ever wanted, it will all be lost. You will most likely die as well, and it won't be nice. I used to think a zombie scenario would be cool too, but then I realized that a zombie scenario isn't just a challenge where you have to barricade and shoot. It will turn the world upside down, and fuck with your emotions and your life.

yea if it were to really happened everyone would be fucked, including me.yea i agree it sounds cool at first and then you think about it, it would be like hell on earth. but still i highly doubt anything like this can ever happen, so not too much to worry about.
