Thread: How would you like to die?

The game here is to give a clever answer to this question.

For today, my answer is that in maybe five years time I want to be visiting a beach on a hot day with some friends. We will go out there in the early morning and make a bonfire. Then we'll sit, play music and eat.

Unbenknownst to us, while this is going on the world's biggest magnifying glass is being set up some way away.

At sunrise, I will step forward to watch the waves, just as the sun will rise high enough to catch the magnifying glass's lense. A bean of light will blast out, seemingly from nowhere and hit me in the head. My head will burst into flames and I will die soon after.

Quickly and painlessly. Though I wouldn't mind seeing an atomic bomb blow up in the distance and see a wave of radiation and heat slam into me. That way I'd be capable of feeling when the pain stops, and then I know I'm dead.

I want to die in my sleep after a long night of.....

anywho..i would like to drown or die asleep in the mountains somewhere where no one will ever find me.

Oh Marlie, that is a nice way to die. I would want to die with you if that's the case.

Maybe In the water...I would like that.

Ah. This looked familiar, and then I realized that I had answered this in one of those silly little Myspace surveys that tend to float around. Well, here's what I had to say, verbatim.

How do you want to die?
Well, since I'm not a sick fuck who fantasizes about my own death, or the death of others.. I guess as long as it's quick and painless.. that'll be fine.

If you can see the blast, then the wave of radiation has already hit you.

As long as I don't suffer, I don't care. I could die of getting my head shredded off by a jet engine, as long as I die instantly.
