Well uhh...it's not a metal bar...it's just a bar. Like a club or whatever. Not like that joke where the guy walks into a "bar" and says ow or whatever.

I guy leaves home, takes three left turns. When he gets back home, there is a man with a mask there. Who is this man?

      1. A house has four walls, all facing south. What colour is the bear?

      2. It takes a man an hour to dig a cubic hole, one metre in length. How long does it take him to dig a cubic hole, four metres in length?

      3. You are in a room, and are very hungry. The room next to you has a table of food in it. There is a door seperating the two rooms. The door is too heavy to move. How do you get to the other room?

      4. You are in a room with three switches (A, B, and C). In the room above you there is a lamp. ONE of the switches lights the lamp. Your goal is to determine which switch (A, B or C) activates the lamp. You may switch any number of the switches off/on any number of times, but when you go upstairs to check the lamp, you can't go back down to the switches again.
You can't see the light of the lamp from the downstairs room. All the switches start in the off position.

      5. A man can make ONE cigarette out of SIX cigarette butts. If he has 36 cigarette butts, how many cigarettes can he make? The answer is not 6, smartass.

I will be impressed if you manage 4.

7, whenever he smokes one you add one butt to the amount he has.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

let me talk with Chuck Norris and I'll see if we can come to a conclusion

one of the switches turns it on so why not turn them all on?

Through the window... how else would you know there's food there?

Put A, B, and C up. One of them is bound to work

      Yes, No, No, No, yes

For the answer to the hole; WTF?

There is no window; only the door.

For the answer to the switches; as I highlighted IN BOLD, you are trying to determine which switch activates the light. You're not trying to turn the light on.

      3. Could you unscrew the hinges on the door?

      2. And is it 64 hours for the hole? That just seems too simple

Well, you're right. Lots of people forget that the cube will have extra depth as well. Ellis seems to have forgotten... basic maths.

Flip on Switch A, and wait ten minutes. Then, flip switch A off, turn switch B on.

      Then go upstairs.

If the light is on, then it was switch B. If it is off, but warm, then it was switch A. If it is off, but cold then it was switch C.

Naw, I didn't forget, in fact that's the answer that I got... I just figured it was a play on words that made no difference in the amount of time spent.

For the room/food question... it never says that the door is closed, so I just walk through the open door to the food.
