Sometimes people just don't have anyone tell them..as in anyone complain, so to say. So it's acceptable for them. Maybe someone just needs to tell 'em. |

I've had people on StarCraft (battle.net) ask me that. I mean, I know I was playing a game that has a lot of retards on it, but still... Some guy called me stupid and said that it's quicker to just abbreviate (and I did use in-game abbreviations), but spelling out "you" didn't take away any crucial seconds I could have been using. Yeah, I'm the stupid one. |

Well, in a game like StarCraft in which time is key, I would say it's a good strategy. Save time typing and make others take longer to interpret it. XD |

Haha, yeah. The thing is, we were playing some UMS in which time really didn't matter much. They type things like "rht cornr hlp" and add in a thousand exclamation points. |

Oh, and when it comes to ommiting vowels, it actually somewhat makes sense. |

Yeah. I wonder that too. I wonder if they fail their English exams, or if this sort of typing carries into their essays and crap. Makes sense... if you type a certain way in a place where you spend most of your time (the internet), the habit is bound to carry into the "real world." |
